Our Spoilers Compilation so far:

- Kat speaks:

Quote:

First things first. Without revealing too much about what goes down tonight, you should know that Bonnie and Stefan will have a lot to do with each other, and that's something Kat is supremely happy about. "I was like, 'Oh yay, I get to work with Paul [Wesley]!' And then I started really thinking about how the character might feel…" And the repercussions on her relationship with Elena. Kat says she knows how the new Stefan-Bonnie development will affect her BFF-ery, but says coyly, "I'm not telling you!" You know what that probably means: Some shiznit's gonna go down, people. At least, that's our guess.

Here's what we did get her to share:

Tell us about Bonnie and Stefan teaming up.
You know, it's kind of an odd pairing -- but then not so odd because Stefan kind of comes into a situation where he needs to turn to Bonnie for help. Bonnie is never really forced into anything, and sometimes I think it's perceived that way because she's such a sweet character. But this is a choice that Bonnie wants to make for the greater good of all, so she teams up with Stefan to accomplish that.

Insider.com: Last night's episode saw Bonnie have a prophetic dream. Is that a new "power?"
Kat Graham: It'll happen a little bit more of it in terms of trying to crack the code, which I think it so interesting because you see so much of the supernatural in the actual Mystic Falls world, but you don't really see it in terms of a subconscious way. I thought it was really cool that they gave Bonnie that.

Insider: It's the latest example of her forming an uneasy alliance with The Salvatore brothers. Why do you think she continues to team up with them when they've caused her so much personal pain?
Kat:
I think that all Bonnie really wants to do is protect the greater good and because of that she's gone against so many of her instincts.

Insider: In this dream, she saw Klaus lying in the coffin that in reality can't be opened. How long will it remain sealed?
Kat:
I can't say how long it will be but I can tell you that whatever is in that coffin is extremely important to the future of what's happening in Mystic Falls – and the show in general. There's a lot of weight to that reveal.

Insider: Suffice it to say, the reveal will be, in true TVD fashion, shocking?
Kat:
So shocking. I thought that by season three they wouldn't be able to shock me anymore, but that has not been the case at all. It's always said that a third season is the best season, and in our case, that's so true. This year is so incredibly shocking. It's a mind ******* and I love it [laughs]. People will not believe what's coming and the degree of twists and turns with how they interlock the originals with other things and how their relationships with everyone in Mystic Falls is going to play out.

Insider: Last night didn't really deal with this, but where is Bonnie's head at in terms of Jeremy after the whole Anna thing?
Kat:
If you really love somebody, I don't think you could ever get over a pain like that and I think Bonnie was opening herself up to him, in spite of her trust issues [laughs]. So I think it was devastating for her. I also think she knows that Jeremy is young and people make mistakes, so it's half and half.

Insider: In next week's episode, titled Our Town, Bonnie finds out Elena had Damon compel Jeremy into leaving Mystic Falls. How does she react?
Kat:
It's shocking – I don't know if I can say that she's happy or sad about [him leaving], it's a lot of mixed emotions. Which I like. She kind of wanted him to leave town because of everything that happened but now that he's gone, she's sad. It's that thing where you want something to happen but when it does, you're no longer sure you wanted it to happen. If anything, she's more shocked by Elena's choice to compel Jeremy to leave. Her reaction to that is very interesting.

Insider: Caroline's birthday is the big event in next week's episode and the group throws her a birthday party in a tomb. Whose idea was that?
Kat:
[laughs] It wasn't Bonnie’s idea! It wasn't Bonnie’s idea! She's not that creepy. But I will tell you that it's a very cool location we've never filmed in before and it's important that people pay attention. You should pay attention to everything on this show because it always circles back into play somehow.

Insider: What else should people look out for next week?
Kat:
What I love next week is the way Caroline was written. Her take on being a vampire is something that hasn't been explored and I love how [co-creator] Julie Plec chose to explore being a young adult as a vampire and that transition. It's so genius how she so subtlety did it – there's so much depth to it.

Insider: Whenever The CW sets up a big round of phoners for you, it's because Bonnie is quickly put in a life or death situation. Safe to say that's the case here?
Kat:
I love that she's always in danger of dying. Half of me doesn't want to be killed off the show, but I want people to be nervous – I don't want anyone to get comfortable with the mortality of these characters. I love my fans and I love this show, but because of her fearlessness and self-sacrificing nature, it doesn't have to be a killer that takes her out. It could be herself.

Insider: If Bonnie does die, is that how you'd like her to go out?
Kat:
I would prefer a big, huge, blow-out self-sacrificial death. That's who she is. Bonnie is a powerhouse character and if it were to come to death one day, I would hope it was a choice she made to die.

The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham: Abby Bennett's Involvement in the Mythology Is Shocking

What does a vampire do when he can't get the job done? Call on a witch.

As we last saw on The Vampire Diaries, Stefan Salvatore is looking to take Klaus down, but a locked coffin stands in his way. Bonnie's powers seem to be the only thing that can uncover the key to destroying the most dangerous hybrid in town.

"Stefan feels that it's so important to his freedom, it's detrimental to everything that he wants, to get [the coffin open] because he doesn't want to deal with Klaus anymore on any level," Kat Graham tells TVGuide.com. "He calls on Bonnie [who's] resistant at first like."

But Bonnie doesn't just have decide if she should unlock the coffin. She's caught between Stefan's plea for help and best friend Elena, who strongly opposes Stefan's plans for revenge.

"How Elena is affected in all this really is very important to Bonnie [so] she's going to be weighing all the options. If she does [open the coffin], does she let Elena know? Does she not let Elena know? What would happen if she lets Elena know?" she says.

Ironically, Bonnie's involvement with Stefan leads her to an important person in her life: her mother, Abby Bennett. "This leads her back to finding her mother who, we'll learn, left town 15 years ago, gave up her witchcraft and gave up her family," executive producer Julie Plec says. "[She'll be] reuniting and working out a lot of issues with her mother."

Graham adds that Abby's involvement in the mythology is "intriguing and shocking and important and you'll be surprised."

Because I can never have enough, any scoop on Bonnie? #TVD — Jenna
First, can we take a beat to recognize the epic-ness of last night’s episode? Second, you know that coffin dream that proved to be more accurate than initially thought? There are more of those to come. “I love that they brought in that aspect of her, because a lot of the stuff that Bonnie experiences in terms of being a witch is very external and all about doing a spell and a lot of physicality,” says Kat Graham. “I’m all about the mind, so the fact that they basically are shooting the character in kind of a parallel universe [in those dreams] is super exciting to me and definitely one of my favorite things that they’ve done this season with her.” This isn’t the first time Bonnie has had premonitions. In season 1, a vision predicted when Coach Tanner died, but since then, we haven’t had any more indicators of her future-telling abilities. “Now it seems like they’re evolving it into more actual dreams or visions in her sleep,” Graham adds. And per EP Julie Plec, “Her dreams are all leading her somewhere.”

- Synopsis for episode 15: All My Children
Quote:

A FLIP OF THE COIN — After starting her day with a startling discovery of Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) latest indiscretion, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is frustrated to find that none of her friends agree with her on how they should react to the Original family’s internal power struggle. Once again caught up in the destiny of the Bennett witches, Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Abby (guest star Persia White) find themselves playing a part in a ritual to appease the spirits of nature. When Elijah (guest star Daniel Gillies) gives Damon and Stefan (Paul Wesley) a dangerous ultimatum that puts Elena in danger, they turn to Alaric (Matt Davis) and Meredith (guest star Torrey Devitto) for help with a plan that leads them to a terrible choice. Candice Accola also stars.

- more infos about Jamie, Bonnie's possible new love interest:

Quote:

Robert Ri’chard previews how Bonnie & Jamie’s relationship will grow & reveals why he’s impressed by Paul Wesley.

Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) has one very good reason to return to Mystic Falls, and it goes by the name of Jamie (Robert Ri’chard.) Although Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) alleged “new love interest” didn’t get too much screen time with her on his inaugural episode of The Vampire Diaries, Robert assures HollywoodLife.com he’ll be back to make some magic happen. ”There’s more story to be told, and it’ll drift towards Bonnie because, I guess, she has a pretty flawed love life,” Robert tells me. (Yeah, that’s a bit of an understatement.)

- CW casts Abby Bennett, Bonnie's mother, to appear in episode 3.12:

Quote:

Former Girlfriends star Persia White has been cast as Abby Bennett, the mother who abandoned Bonnie (Kat Graham), on The Vampire Diaries, EW has learned exclusively. She’ll first appear in episode 312 and recur. Abby is described as a beautiful but troubled woman who is burdened by the secrets of her past that led her to leave Bonnie. She’s also “as determined and fiery as any Bennett woman.” Is that code for “she’s also a witch,” or, perhaps, was there a reason we learned in last week’s episode that someone can be either a witch or a vampire but never both?

Source: 'Vampire Diaries' casts Persia White | Inside TV | EW.com
- Bonnie/Abby:

Quote:

Meanwhile, we'll also be getting a little deeper into Bonnie's (Kat Graham) emotional state. Yes, when we return from hiatus, Bonnie and Jeremy (Stephen R. McQueen) are still dealing with the fall-out from the ghostly infidelity issue -- albeit in very different ways.

Unfortunately, Bonnie doesn't get much time to heal. "Bonnie gave herself over to the relationship with Jeremy and it ended badly," Julie says. "She's really been struggling. When we get back from the hiatus she gets pulled right back into the witch side of business. She's been helping deal with hiding the coffins and all the other things that are going on, being the only witch in town."

As if she didn't have enough to deal with... enter her absentee mother, Abby, played by Persia White. Though Abby and Bonnie have a rocky history, Bonnie finds some solace in her mother, simply given the fact that she's not involved with the Salvatores. Yet.

"I can't give away too much in terms of the catalyst that brings them together and in terms of the mythology," Julie says. "But I'll say that emotionally, Bonnie needs a touchstone that is disconnected from this vampire life. She finds that in the mother who, as we'll learn, abandoned her a long, long time ago -- and abandoned being a witch, too. There's some great conflict there, and we're just scratching the surface right now, but I'm very excited to dig into it."

Question: Scoop on Vampire Diaries’ Bonnie, please! Any details about the reunion with her mother? —Alta
Ausiello: It’s not going to be “all Hallmark cards and cookies,” warns executive producer Julie Plec. “There’s a lot of tension there. There’s [also a] surprising explanation about why [her] mother felt like she needed to walk away and never come back to Mystic Falls.” Plec adds that Bonnie’s backstory will “play an interesting role in solving a present-day mythology puzzle.”

The Vampire Diaries returns with its first episode of 2012 tonight (The CW, 8 p.m. ET), but we’re already looking ahead to the Jan. 19 episode when we meet Abby Bennett (recurring guest star Persia White), estranged mother of Bonnie (Kat Graham). ”There’s going to be some unanswered questions that Bonnie’s gonna have: Why did you leave me, or why did you disappear? What made you disappear? Where did you go? Why were you not in my life?” Graham says. “A lot of those questions will get answered and you will find out where her mom’s heart is and why she has to come back into Bonnie’s life. And that whole thing will surprise you, too, because it’s not what people think.”

Lorainnecollins: Is there much Bonnie-Damon interaction coming up? Book fans are desperate for those long-awaited Bamon moments

We’ve got you, girl! When we recently chatted with Kat Graham we made sure to tell her that we received one or two…or 50 Bamon-related tweets. “Oh my gosh! They will drag you into the Bamon world—it’s so funny! There is none of that so far and I’m actually having more scenes with Paul than with Ian [Somerhalder], but Ian and I are very close.” Don’t start reaching for the tissues just yet book lovers! Kat tell us that she adores her Bamon fans: “They’re wonderful…I would put them up there with Beliebers. Bamon and Beliebers, they’re strong.”

I really hope Kat can land another gig. Seriously after waiting 3 seasons for Bonnie's mom these idiots may kill her off in 3 episodes? I'm sorry they ever brought Bonnie's mom on board. I knew these idiots weren't going to do the story justice. I hope Bonnie's father never appears. Let him stay in off-screen ville.

*Which is all hypocritical because let's face it, it would have been just as weird if Bonnie went with Klaus after he killed Jenna...
I dont know about the others but for me I didnt want Bonnie to hook up with Klaus that would have been unrealistic and OOC for Bonnie but I wanted Klaus to have an interest in Bonnie but they are going with Caroline soo..
Quote:

And if Caroline still gets with Klaus, ..... I just wouldn't be able to stan for her anymore.
Maybe I am being way to optimistic but I dont think Caroline will be with Klaus that way, anyways I hope, but from all the interviews it seems like Klaus takes an interest in her and thats it. But saying that it could change later on:rolleyes:

Thanks for the new interview. I knew it was Caroline too. I am just so mad that Bonnie never gets anything. I feel like angry tweeting JP. I know it would not do me any good. I hate feeling helpless.

I have no problem not watching the show. I do have a problem giving up the anger.

^ Yeah I just hate how Bonnie never gets appreciation and like you said she just never gets anything.

I hope it will happen this way, but the problem with this show is that it focus too much on the romantic rl (unless your character is named "Bonnie").
They can´t have many het friendships or partnerships just for the friendship only, there always has to be some romantic involvement.
You see it with Caroline/Tyler (even Caroline/Matt) and now Caroline/Klaus ... they have some (one) sweet moments and bam ... there have to be romantic feelings.
But if your name is Bonnie - like the moments she shared with Matt - nothing comes out of this. Not that I wanted romantic feelings, but the writers scheme always works for the characters ... but not Bonnie.

Thanks for the vid Nikki.

You know it will change later on.

Bonnie wouldn't get a piece of dog crap on the ground, lbr.

Exactly! I didn't want Matt/Bonnie but after their scenes, a lot of people did.... and what have you, they have not interacted since. But Klaus/Caroline get ONE scene, and you know there will be more.

Saw this post on tumblr from rebeldesigns:
I imagine Julie Plec trolling Tumblr or something and making sure that not a one Bonnie pairing gets satisfied. I can see her scrolling through the pairings and laughing her herself.. it probably goes something like this:

Bonnie/Damon? Lol too bad, they hate each other and also Caroline sleeps with him and also he’s all up on doppleganger fangbanger’s jock

Bonnie/Stefan? Lol too bad, Caroline is his besty now, also see above re: Elena

Bonnie/Ben (Sean Faris)? Lol too bad, he was never interested in you, just your witchness, sorries

Bonnie/Luka? Lol too bad, he’s black and also a witch and also interested in you so he’s been dead since he walked into this town What? What? Did you say something? I didn’t say anything.

Bonnie/Tyler? Lol too bad, Caroline gets him too

Bonnie/Jeremy? Lol too bad, he cheated on you with a dead girl and also apparently doesn’t want to have sex with you when y’all were up in that witch house by yourselves that one time, also we’re writing him off the show for a bit okay lol

Bonnie/Matt? Lol Matt? What the **** is a Matt? Haha now you’re making people up…

Bonnie/Klaus? Lol too bad, Caroline and her magical sparkly Barbie vampire vagina gets him too, sorry

Bonnie/random black dude I’m casting to make you shut up about Bonnie not getting enough love interests? Lol okay, sure, we’ll bring on a guest star for a coupla eps because let’s be honest, Bonnie isn’t a real character so she doesn’t deserve one as her love interest either, lol

Bonnie/happiness? Lol too bad, we need a token black girl who also conveniently doubles as the fandom punching bag, lol, lol she’s also a plot device so yay she’s totes useful don’t tell us that we’re playing favorites, sooooooo not true

And it's ridiculous because it's so true.

You're guys are probably right. If we ship Kol/Bonnie, he's gonna want Caroline next.

Disturbia 01-19-2012 02:36 PM

I saw that as well, its actually kind of sad, have you seen the other one where every guy that Bonnie has been shipped with has then been with Caroline, Im just wondering if the writers even see this as well.

Quote:

Seriously he will probably like Elena or Caroline

london grammar 01-19-2012 02:39 PM

Yep, I love Caroline but come on, now.

I guess the only thing I can ship is: Bonnie/Survival of s3
