CHARLIE BEWLEY FROM “TWILGHT” GUEST STARS AS ONE OF THE FIVE HUNTERS — On the island, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) has an ugly run-in with a Hunter named Vaughn (guest star Bewley), and realizes he is one of The Five. Stefan (Paul Wesley) confesses his true feelings about the possibility of becoming human again to Elena (Nina Dobrev). When a stunning new piece of information about the cure is suddenly revealed, it changes the stakes for everyone. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) helps Bonnie (Kat Graham) recognize what is real and what is an illusion, and Shane (guest star David Alpay) is comforted by a woman from his past, Caitlin (guest star Camille Guaty, “Prison Break”). Back in Mystic Falls, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) find that their attempt to translate the code on the Hunter’s Sword is futile without help from Klaus (Joseph Morgan), who has his own reasons for solving the puzzle. Claire Holt also stars.

THE TERRIBLE TRUTH — When Stefan arrives back in Mystic Falls with Elena and Jeremy, Caroline is immediately worried about Elena’s state of mind. Stefan reaches out to Dr. Fell and Matt for help. Still on the island, Damon relays somber news to Rebekah, and is surprised at her reaction. Together, Damon and Rebekah learn an unexpected bit of recent history from Vaughn. Everyone is horrified when Bonnie reveals the rest of Shane’s plan. Finally, after Damon does his best to help her, Elena comes up with a plan of her own.

I was reading on Tumblr about how whenever you kill a hunter you hallucinate. So perhaps Bonnie kills a hunter and that is why she is having issues?

hmm.... that would make sense. and since there was a spoiler that said that Jeremy helped her see what was real and what wasn't...

A) I wonder if he wasn't dead? Because unless things really change I don't see her killing Vaughn

B) He probably wouldn't be as malicious a ghost as Connor was towards Elena.


C) That would be really ironic if Bonnie saw him after he died.

But she doesn´t kill a hunter ... Jeremy is still alive in the promo where she looks like she is distraught and Vaughn is also alive.

And I don´t know but I thought it would only cause halluzinations for the vampires if they kill a hunter. What would the hunters get from a witch killing herself?

maybe she kills them after the promo / later in the episode?

I don't know, revenge?

I mean, if somebody killed me it might give me a little bit of morbid satisfaction knowing they didn't live a long healthy life?

If Jer is the third sacrifice and he does die, then that would qualify as killing a hunter, even if he came back

Revenge LOL yeah that is good enough of a reason. Maybe it is just for vampires, or maybe Bonnie is having issues with something else. All of this speculation in interesting.

I still think they are going to sacrifice 12 inhabitants of the island for that third one, because of the SYMMETRY ... Klaus already loved it and he is so smart and the über-villain and can´t be killed so he must be right ... or something.

Why would she kill Vaughn out of revenge? Or Jeremy?

no, Vaughn/ the hunter's spirit might want revenge if a witch killed them.... not that Bonnie would want revenge.

Yeah it is too bad that everyones ideas will likely be better than what we see on the show. I imagine that things will get ugly on the island. Bonnie and Jeremy will probaly team up to get free of Shane or a hunter?

Oh I got it .. if that happens I hope he will have a better diction in the afterlife because it´s so hard for me to understand this guy.

yeah... and that might be how if Jeremy did die that he might help her tell what was real or not? He'd probably be a friendly ghost of sorts
