Didn't watch the season 7 finale and fast forward pass most of 8x01.

It was ok..

Tho i'm not that interested in what the season seems to be about

at least the evil villain this season

Liked the Bonnie/Stefan scenes and the Bonnie/Enzo flashbacks. were my favorite part of the episode.

I loved that Enzo was leaving clues for Bonnie and she figured out in the end who the villain is but I agree with Maurice at the moment it doesn't seem so interesting especially because they are going to beat us to dead with the Elena mentions and I'm tired of it.

I don't know how the writers are going to handle the greek mythology.

The flashbacks were cute but I want to see Bonnie trying to get her powers back.

I enjoyed the Caroline/Bonnie and Enzo/Bonnie scenes. I really loved that Bonnie voiced out her feelings to Caro and that Caro was there for her.
I love that Enzo is fighting for her even though that line with him fighting sirens etc was a little bit cheesy.

I can't really see how Bonnie could grow old with Enzo though unless she gets her powers back ... or Enzo gets the cure. But I love that she was putting her own feelings first. Just hope that she will finally start to get her powers back somehow. We really haven't seen her mourn her powers in any way.
And when she was talking about Caros kids I wonder if she was thinking of getting her own (how with Enzo) or she just mentioned them because they are a big part of Carolines happiness. Would love to know that.

I can't believe the writers really went there with Steroline engagement/wedding ... and so early in the season

They are beating a dead horse with all those Delena mentions ... to me it is boring but that is probably because of my dislike for that couple.
Even if Sybil erased all his memories of her, he will sure get it back because their love is so strong ... we have seen this one before. No thank you.

I didn't really get the Georgie/Alaric scenes ... I just tuned out. She has some kind of tattoo? Why do they think that sirens are connected to hell. I don't really get this. Maybe I should read more about sirens.

You know, this whole siren thing about mind control would be way more interesting if compelling hadn't already been such a huge part of the show ...

That is very true ... especially with the Originals being able to control other vampires aswell.

But the sirens control is only working on men, right?

Yeah, it is very reminiscent of the Originals' power to compell vampires - The victims also know that they are not in control etc.

That is true. I wonder if the siren has any other power ... because that is not so impressing if she really is the big bad this season.

But it would also contradict with what happened last season, it looked like the thing in the vault was able to control everybody and make them go crazy. I guess the writers didn't really know what the villain would be at the end of the season or it is another plot hole.
