I guess they maybe think it would work like it worked for Silas when he almost drained Katherine of her blood and therefore the cure.

So Bonnie didn`t destroy the ascendent in the end? Then why all this drama ... and I can't really be happy that she put herself first because in the end she would have given it to Damon willingly if he would have told Elena about the cure. This is not putting yourself first.

But lol at Mama Salvatore ... she is really cruel that preparation with the ringbox and the rose peddles ... and in the end it was the cure.
I just don't care for Enzo and if she hangs out more with him that will make me lose interest in her because he sucks the life out of a character.

Well, you could argue that she knew things were going to work out like that because she knew Damon would react like that.

Yeah, Lily/Enzo doesn't interest me either. Didn't the actor talk about their chemistry and maybe going into a romantic direction? I didn't see any of that.

What do you make of Bonnie having Damon's blood in her system going into the final 2 episodes that we've heard is going to be pretty bloody? Nothing at all or perhaps a hint of something to come? The fact that it happened offscreen is confusing me. I feel like if it was meant to foreshadow, it would have happened onscreen.

Meh episode. It felt so disconnected. Ugh @ Damon ... first trying to choke Bonnie and then two hours later he calls Bonnie because he has problems with his girlfriend.

I have a feeling that Jo and Alaric are going to fake a miscarriage and then give the twins to Elena to raise them. Of course after a flash forward. She is going to leave town and live her happy life or whatever.

Why doesn't Matt take his own advice and leave?

Kathrin, wouldn't that be too close to what happened at the end of S1 on TO, though? Rebekah getting Hope and leave NOLA.
