DAMON TRAVELS TO THE 1903 PRISON WORLD — With the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Kai (guest star Chris Wood), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) set forth a plan to rescue Damon’s mother Lily (guest star Annie Wersching), who is trapped in the 1903 prison world. Meanwhile, when Caroline's (Candice Accola) plan for Stefan (Paul Wesley) backfires, she is left to pick up the pieces. Elsewhere, back at Whitmore College, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) and Alaric’s (Matt Davis) attempt to reel Caroline back in doesn’t quite go as planned when they realize they're outmaneuvered. KILLER KARAOKE — With their humanity turned off, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) begin wreaking havoc at Whitmore, leaving Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to come up with a risky plan involving Lily (guest star Annie Wersching). Boring episode

It can interesting, i'm glad there is some sort of evil supernatural back in the picture.

I think the reveal is a good idea. Having the antagonists for the finale episodes be just 6 random vampires (and Lily and Kai probably) would be kind of lame, especially since we've just had a SL with Steroline on a vampire killing spree. I've had enough of vampire bloodlust, vampires munching on and compelling humans for the time being and am glad they added the magic element in there, which switches things up

But do you think they will do them justice in the next four eps? I wonder if this vtch coven will continue to be there in S7.

We'll have to see. All I want is a good battle.

I can't believe Damon handed the ascendant over just like that. I was hoping against hope that he had removed something so that it wouldn't work but, judging from his facial expression at the end of the episode, that wasn't the case.

Yeah that was not clever at all. And what does he think Lily is going to do? She will probably harrass Bonnie now to give her blood and do the spell. This won't end well.

He didn't even give her a heads up. After promising Bonnie not to go back to 1903, I expected him to be more resistant. It's not like Lily asked him to hand it over before she brought Stefan back. She was skeptical about him keeping his promise but I think he could've gotten away with just showing her that he had the ascendant on him and reassuring her that he would give it to her later. At least it was worth a try. For all he knew Lily could've taken off after getting her hands on the ascendant.

They didn't even give an explanation why Bonnie is not in the episode.

And really, hiding the cure in his shirt drawer? Really?

His hiding spots are getting worse and worse. The other ones were at least funny.
