And she is. And he is too. Can someone explain me why people think that when Emily is grabbing the thing, people think it's because she is not really in love? For me I took it as she is overwhelmed by her feelings and is really falling in love with Daniel, and she holds on, because she knows it will be "risky" and might compromise her plan.

i guess it depends on how you interpret it.

most people like to speculate, myself included. we don't really know for sure why she handles things the way she does, because we can't always tell what she's thinking. so there is no right or wrong if you ask me.

That's how I pretty much saw it too. That she was surprised but what she felt in that moment and that she needed something to hold on to because she clearly got overwhelmed by it. Not sure if she actually is already in love with him but I think she could be on her way to it.

I can totally see why some people can see it in a different way that she is holding on to it because she has a hard time being this way with Daniel when in reality she would prefer it would be Jack. It's hard to tell.
