I will too 100% but it's so darn hard to get through it all. I'm wanting a glimmer of light soon, let's hope it comes next episode. I'm thinking yesterday was the calm peace before the storm/change.

When the show started I felt from the beginning there were 2 things that Emily ultimately wanted Revenge and Jack. If you give her either there is nothing to keep the show going so like her revenge they find ways to stop it from happening (just like her relationship with Jack). I also feel like they can't get together until nearer the end as Jack would probably not want to be with her while she carries on a fauxmance with someone else. So maybe that's why they have been dragging it out so long if the next season is the last (as some have speculated) then maybe we will finally see a shift and focus on their relationship (as a romantic one).

Yeah, I could not see Jack being with her while she was still faking with Daniel. I was thinking last episode while they (Emily/Nolan/Aiden) mentioned the baby how weird it was that she was having sex with Daniel and with Aiden too.

I've mellowed a little since Sunday, and I do think you have a point -- if Jack and Emily are the "it" couple of the show, then it does make sense that TPTB would put off putting them together by throwing all of these obstacles in their paths (I actually made this same point about another couple on a different show and realized belatedly that it applies here as well).

And while I think some show's "it" couples could logically break up and get back together several times, I don't think that would work for Emily and Jack. They've been holding onto each other since childhood...and now that they're adults, we've seen how deeply they feel about each other.

So when they do get together, I think they'll be together -- they won't let anything or anyone break them up, because they've wanted this relationship too badly for too long.

Which (unfortunately for those of us waiting) means that, dramatically, the writers will feel that they have to wait as long as possible to put them together.

Oh, Jack totally wouldn't be as chill about it as Aiden apparently is. He was burning up with jealousy over Emily and Daniel even when he and Emily weren't together.

But I also think Emily wouldn't want Jack in the position that Aiden's in now (her lover in private who's cool with her publicly parading around with Daniel). To Emily, Jack is everything that is still pure and good. Just as his instinct is to protect her, her instinct is to protect him. In season one, she was only prepared to be with him when she had broken up with Daniel and declared herself finished with revenge. So I think, unless something really big happens, we won't see them together until she's in a similar situation and free from any and all Grayson-obligations.

My totally-based-on-nothing spec is that we're going to spend the rest of the season watching Emily/Aiden unravel as she deals with whatever is going to happen post-shooting.
