To be honest, I never know if what people say on those ratings sites are true But my understanding is that the demo is what counts the most; however, viewers factor in. I'm definitely no expert though.

You're correct. While demo is definitely more important to the network, viewer numbers are also something they look at and take into consideration when it comes time to renew/cancel.

I just hope we get a season 4....half or full....it doesn't matter...I don't see why we won't though...but this is sorta my first rodeo!

Just glad we have confirmation.

No word on how many episodes, but seeing as how I was confident we'd get a fourth season, I am confident we'll get a full fourth season.

That's the big question!

I wonder if we will see some sort of promo at the end of Monday night to give us an idea of the direction the show might go.

(Or the promo might just mention the holiday episode? I am looking forward to that, too!)

As soon as the season finale for Chasing Life aired, ABC Family posted a promo for their Christmas episode.

I am thinking we may very well see a promo for Switched at Birth's Christmas episode this Monday night, too.
