I'm worried about our post count tonight. If anyone sees this post and could post a few things, I'd be grateful.

Between the show taking a turn that knocks the wind out of Bay & Emmett fans (and really, fans for the individual characters, too), and then, the malicious site warnings on Fan Forum in general, we have not made a lot of posts this week.

I'll come back later this afternoon and post in some more threads. Hopefully, we will make it to 105 posts before tonight, if we haven't already.

The show has knocked the wind out of me. Switched at Birth is a painful show to watch these days, but I still love it and have a LOT of hope for the next three episodes. So I will come back to the board and share some of that.

I am so sorry, Amy.
I've honestly lost all interest in the show

I'm just trying to keep it honest here

I was so dedicated to keep the board alive until this final season. And I was so dang excited about this final season.
And then it was such a freaking let down for me.
Not just because of Bemmett, but the show in general.
I'm not anticipating to watch it.
And with having other shows to catch up on as well and starting work since 4 weeks, I just haven't had the desire to keep watching.
I know I'll watch it eventually, but I'll wait until the season has aired in full. And if it doesn't pan out the way I'd like it too, it could be a very long time before I watch.

I just wanted to let you know.

Because I do feel bad about both things; not posting and the show taking this turn

Aw, I understood and understand 100%. I intuitively knew that was what had happened. I hope you understand why I never put together those Bemmett quotes. My heart has not been able to face them yet.

It is painful that Lizzy Weiss turned her back on Emmett's character. It's not "bygones" as she tweeted. It matters. It's real betrayal. And it's not about Bemmett.

Emmett is a character in his own right and deserved a point of view in this story. Only a bitter, bitter person would deny his character that because of behind the scenes turmoil. It was never the character's fault, and the writer who had established a trust between herself, as a storyteller, and her fans, owes us more than what she is willing to give. She is a small-minded, mean-spirited, uncharitable, petty person to abandon Emmett's story that way.

I understand fans who say they'll never watch another Lizzy Weiss production again. She broke our trust in the worst way. She allowed fans to care about Emmett's story with all of our heart and soul, and then, she abandoned it. I would have accepted every twist and turn. I only wanted Emmett's story to be told with honesty and depth. The authenticity at the beginning of his story called for that.
