That's good that it happened at your sister's house, but boo to expensive car repairs. At least it's fixable though.

Someone put a dent on both of the passenger side doors of my car. I'm bummed about that, because I have only had the car for a year. It must have happened in a parking lot, but I cannot figure out where. I haven't parked that close to anyone lately.

I agree with your post, Amy. I used to love the show, but it's really gone downhill lately. I'm sticking around for the end in January because it would feel weird for me to not see the end, but not really because I care about the characters or anything like that. Also, I'm sorry about your co-worker.

The writers sacrificed the characters and their relationships for some reason, and I cannot figure out why.

Is it because of the emphasis on social issues?

Or is it because of their desire to present life to us exactly as it is, with no commentary or opinion or message of any kind from them?

What is it that has destroyed these characters and their relationships? Because I can't quite put my finger on it.

I see fans on Twitter squealing with delight over Toby & Lily's relationship, and I don't feel it. That relationship doesn't delight me. I can accept it. It's okay. But it doesn't reach me on any sort of emotional level, and it's a shame, because it should. Toby is a character that I have loved since I discovered him in 2012. I was rooting for him to grow up and get things right. It appears that he has, but something huge is missing, because it all feels so shallow to me.

And Bay & Daphne's relationship feels equally shallow. I can't delight in it, and I want to delight in it.

I used to care about John and Kathryn's marriage. Lately, it's just meh.

Maybe it is that the writers have dragged us through hell and back, and I am numb.

I don't know.

The idea of a happy ending with these upcoming last ten episodes feels cliche and trite. We haven't had happiness on this show since early season 1. Why would things suddenly become happy at the end?

I don't know what it is with me and vests, but I love them. But they always seem so expensive. Although I like vests, I'm picky. I don't like ones that are too long. And these days the trend is open vests and I don't like those. I prefer vests that close. I think I like vests because you can dress up an outfit so to speak with them. I'm not a dress person or a skirt person.

Thankfully I don't have a job that requires anything too formal. And I wear black. A lot. #1 it's slimming #2, I like black clothes. Vests allow me to feel like I am somewhat dressed up but not the point where I'm uncomfortable.

I have one vest I used to love wearing, but I don't even dress up that much anymore. I remember a second vest that I wore during the same few years, and I did love them both.

Now, I stick with t-shirts and hoodies. If I have to dress up, I usually choose a three quarter length sleeve cotton shirt. I go for total comfort these days.

I think I might have created a problem
My sister from England was here last night, with her mother in law. I was telling mother in law that I love vests and then sister corrected me saying that they're called cardigans

So I might have created the impression that I love other stuff than I actually do I'm sorry

I don't even have one of those type vests Not that I don't like them, they just don't suit my body type.
And I'm totally a skirts & dresses type, I only own one pair of trousers
I prefer over sized, long cardigans
