I wonder what Wilke would think about the whole Tank/Bay situation.

I imagine he would be philosophical about it and probably feel a lot like Bay, when all is said and done.

I don't think Wilke would see it too differently from Toby.

I have a feeling Bay and Toby will be on the same page about Tank, too.

I went back and re-watched all of Season 4A this weekend. I've come to some interesting conclusions about the whole situation, after a re-watch.

It's not meant for this thread, but I'll try to find places to share some of my thoughts, when it feels like the right thing to do.

If anything, though, I doubt Wilke would ever say anything bad about Bay. Even with the Simone/Emmett thing, he had her back. Yeah, he had Toby's back first, but he did tell Simone "And what about Bay?"

That's what I meant when I said Wilke would feel about it the same as Bay and Toby. To me, Toby has Bay's back, too. Do you feel that way?

I don't see Wilke thinking Tank is the devil, in the way that Emmett thought Tank was the devil.

But I do see Wilke as losing respect for Tank, in the same way I feel Bay and Toby have lost respect for Tank.

I guess what I am saying is that Wilke would not see Tank as a monster, but he would see him as a total loser.

I still remember this exchange, between Wilke and Daphne, about Emmett, at prom:

WILKE: Honestly? I think the guy's a phony.

DAPHNE: A phony? Emmett is the most real person I know.

WILKE: I don't think you know him as well as you think you do.

DAPHNE: What'd you say?

WILKE: Forget it.

DAPHNE: No, say it.

WILKE: Emmett slept with Simone at the basketball tournament.

DAPHNE: Why would you say that?

WILKE: Because it's true. Simone told me.

DAPHNE: Simone's a liar.

WILKE: Well yeah, maybe she lied.

DAPHNE: When did she tell you this?

WILKE: At the movie shoot.

DAPHNE: Why didn't you tell me?

WILKE: Because I don't want to get involved.

And Wilke was right. Emmett is a phony. He was then, and he is now. He always has been.

Emmett tries to be genuine. He puts forth some effort. He wants to be a good guy, in theory, but he just cannot live up to it in practice.

I would like to believe Emmett knows that about himself, but I am not sure. We haven't seen enough of him to know.

I hope Emmett is not pious, believing himself to be one of the good guys. I'd rather he have a more realistic outlook about himself, closer to Wilke's impression of him.

I'd like to see how Wilke feels about a lot of things.

I wonder how Wilke feels about Emmett, now, given what recently transpired in LA.

I wonder how Wilke feels about Daphne letting Bay take the fall for her.

I wonder what Wilke would say about Nikki and about Lily.

And yeah, I wonder how Wilke feels about Tank.
