Technically I don't think she would be going against Bay if she puts her art in the show; it's not like she originally set out for that to happen, it just so happened that the guy saw her painting and liked it. I don't think she should hide her talent, either. Also, maybe she could be another person who can help Bay along her way to becoming a better artist.

Speaking objectively without having seen the episode yet - my opinion on Bay's art would be for her to stick to what makes her art her own, regardless of who likes it or doesn't. I mean, there will be criticism or outright disdain from some, others may like, while others don't care one way or another. Look at the real life story of the author for HP, how many times was her writing script rejected before someone took a chance on it and just look at the success now.

Regina can be supportive either way - whether the art is in the show or not.

Regina has been more parental to Bay these days. I mean I know she'll never be Bay's mother but it'd be great to see a really touching moment between the two and bay actually allow regina to hug her, she tried before but bay wasn't so willing

I think that one day Regina can be considered another mother to Bay, it'll take time and for the bond/relationship to grow stronger but it's not impossible. Things happen, life takes us on different journies with different relationships, they do share a blood bond and it does matter.
