Yes, something both good and unexpected.  I do want Regina to find some peace and happiness after all those years she had to struggle as a single parent to a deaf child. The challenges had to be immense.__________________

I think that Regina devoted her life to raising and caring for Daphne and her needs - you really got to at least respect her for this knowing the truth. Which is that she found out alot sooner than the Kennishs, the truth that this child was not really hers, yet she went forward and loved and raised her regardless. __________________

Yeah, she deserves credit for all she did for Daphne.
It's not like she just abandoned her when she found out that Daphne wasn't hers; she continued to love and treat her as her own child. |

I agree w/ both of you plus I was impressed that she sacrificed lot of things for her even it wasn't her child that she willing not to lose her.. And that speak volume that how much she loves her even she doesn't care that she isn't blood related to her..

Yep, Daphne was the child she had raised up until the point she found out she wasn't hers, and that's what mattered.
She still continued to raise her in the same way after she found out she wasn't blood related. |
