Need help with favorite quotes from Switched at Birth! Please
EDITED TO ADD: If you are thinking of a quote, but don't want to re-watch the episode, this website has all of the scripts available for easy perusal:
http://www.springfieldspringfield.co...tched-at-birth All three seasons are available, right up to and including the mid-season finale Love Seduces Innocence, Pleasure Entraps, and Remorse Follows. Unfortunately, the scripts do not include lines in ASL that are not also spoken aloud, but it's still a cool resource. ***************************** Hello, everyone! I am working on an art project, and I need to compile 52 of my favorite quotes from Switched at Birth. Would anyone be willing to make some suggestions? I believe I will include this one from Season 3, Episode 8: Bay: "The most powerful memories aren't flat or linear. At least, they aren't for me. The moments that I replay over and over again are like this. They spin and spin and sometimes they make you dizzy, or at least, the good ones do." So what are some other favorite quotes? Amy, I'm going to take a good look at this over the next few days and think about it, okay?

All right.
I have a few: "Because the most powerful memories aren't flat or linear. At least, they aren't for me. The moments that I replay over and over again are are like this. They they spin and spin and sometimes they make you dizzy. Or at least, the good ones do." "Because that's the thing. They day before your whole life changes forever, feels just like any other day." I love these, especially the top one. Bay is such a romantic! |

I am making my own Switched at Birth Monopoly game. I need to choose 28 Switched at Birth properties to occupy the spaces on the board. Also, I need to use some logic to decide how to group and color code them. Here's my "first draft" of a list of properties! If anyone has better suggestions (better properties) to include, please tell me. I am NOT married to this list. Also, how do you think I should group them together? Which properties should belong to which color groups? Which ones should substitute for the railroad stations and the utilities? Thanks in advance for suggestions! Which properties should be: The cheapest (Dark Purple) Mediterranean Avenue Baltic Avenue Next cheapest (Light Blue) Oriental Avenue Vermont Avenue Connecticut Avenue Next cheapest (Magenta) St. Charles Place States Avenue Virginia Avenue Next cheapest (Orange) St. James Place Tennessee Avenue New York Avenue Starting to become expensive (Red) Kentucky Avenue Indiana Avenue Illinois Avenue More expensive (Yellow) Atlantic Avenue Ventnor Avenue Marvin Gardens More expensive (Green) Pacific Avenue North Carolina Avenue Pennsylvania Avenue Most expensive (Dark Blue) Park Place Boardwalk Stations Reading Railroad Pennsylvania Railroad B. & O. Railroad Short Line Utilities Electric Company Water Works |

Wow, this seems so cool!
Although you have Blue River Road on the list twice (#7 and #14). What about swapping one for the army base Ty was stationed at? Or swapping one for K&D? Hmm... I personally like the idea of transportation based places being the Railway stations. Just makes sense imo. *add* So do you want the organization of the properties based off of estimated real world values or more off of the values they have in the show? For example, in the SAB world I'd have Carlton down lower a little bit lower on the values list than in the real world. __________________

I actually thought about Ty's army base. I was going to search for the name of the closest one to Kansas City. I know when the preview was released for last summer that I looked it up online and there is one about 30 minutes away. I always figured that would have been the army base where he was stationed, but of course, I do not know for sure. K&D is an excellent idea, too. Where was the hair salon that Regina first worked? I cannot remember the name. Are there any other places I have forgotten? As for the organization of the properties, I want the ones that are most important to the theme of the show to be the most expensive properties. Maybe I should do something like this: The cheapest (Dark Purple) = Road Trips/Vacation Spots Mediterranean Avenue = East West Fest in St. Louis Baltic Avenue = Galapagos Islands Next cheapest (Light Blue) = Restaurants the Teens Frequented Oriental Avenue = Eli's Juiceateria Vermont Avenue = Forno di Lupo Restaurant (with Liam Lupo) Connecticut Avenue = Maize Restaurant (with Chef Jeff) Next cheapest (Magenta) = Restaurants with Childhood Memories St. Charles Place = Big Al's Barbecue States Avenue = Farrell's Ice Cream Parlour Virginia Avenue = Sal's (with the garlic knots) Next cheapest (Orange) = Special Places St. James Place = Billboard at 24347 Main Street (above Ricardo's Auto Upholstery) Tennessee Avenue = Blue River Road New York Avenue = Rivas Canyon State Park Starting to become expensive (Red) = Businesses Where the Teens Found Work Kentucky Avenue = Segrave Clinic Indiana Avenue = Maui Kansas Amusement Park Illinois Avenue = Chrome Motorcycle Repair More expensive (Yellow) = Businesses That Support the Families Atlantic Avenue = Kennish Car Wash Ventnor Avenue = K & D Design Marvin Gardens = Kansas State Capitol in Topeka More expensive (Green) = Residences Pacific Avenue = 624 Glenwood Drive (Kennish Estate) North Carolina Avenue = 22610 13th Place (Vasquez Home) Pennsylvania Avenue = 27046 Island Road (Bledsoe Home) Most expensive (Dark Blue) = Neighborhoods Park Place = East Riverside Boardwalk = Mission Hills Stations = Colleges Reading Railroad = Gallaudet University Pennsylvania Railroad = Washington University (Wash U.) B. & O. Railroad = University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) Short Line = Pratt Institute Utilities = High Schools Electric Company = Carlton School for the Deaf Water Works = Buckner Hall |

I actually really like the ways that you organized the places. Although the biology nerd in me wants to put the Galapagos up a lot higher despite the relatively limited role it played on the show. K&D actually works really well with the way you organized this. __________________

Plus, I have remembered a few more places, like Worlds of Fun (Wilke's favorite date place), the country club (need to check on the name), the nightclub where Bay first looked for Angelo, The Senator (where the teens dined after they struck out looking for Angelo), and that jazz bar where Zane worked (need to check on the name of it, too). Does anyone remember any other important place I may have forgotten? I am going to try to organize them again. Suggestions? I'll be back soon to update. I need to have this complete by tomorrow, because my students are going to create the game this week. |

Any suggestions for which twelve quotes I should choose? Also, did I leave out any important quotes? I need to double check to make sure that I have these written correctly, but here is a list of favorite quotes that I created so far:
