Hey guys.

I haven't posted here in awhile, but I wanted to make a comment.

Is it just me or does Emmett seem to be a background character. He's not as prominent that he used to be and I feel like he's a main character, but not as much as he used to be.

I don't know, it's just the feeling that I get while watching the show.

Him and Bay, although there, sometimes seems to be non-existent and I really miss them.

No I think he's had less screentime too. Hopefully in the next half he'll get more scenes.

i think these last two episodes have felt like he actually contributed to the plot again.

Until they put him back together with Bay, he won't have a major story line.. Whenever he's with her, it ties him into all of the other story lines and the longer Bay drags her feet, the longer Emmett stays MIA or a sound board

Seriously.. I have a rant coming on..

They've given Bay TWO different boyfriends since Emmett. Where are the writers going from here with Bay? Continued love interests? For goodness sake.. It's getting old. Her going through numerous boyfriends isn't going to give her what she's searching for..That love and connection she has with Emmett! Noah has a connection with Daphne that he doesn't have with Bay. Enough is ENOUGH! Emmett having another love interest would just look SO wrong!

Bay keeps rebounding. The best Emmett could do was pretend to have plans (which he couldn't even keep up and still showed up at the party). lol

Their relationship continues to amaze me.

It's awesome to see how they have both grown. In the beginning, Emmett was so put off by hearing people, calling them morons and "these people" and here he was being pretty much the only one to defend Bay (and Noah). And Bay was insecure and angry, and now you can see the confidence in her building. Although her and Emmett aren't together, I like to think he helped with her being able to pull herself together and make the honor roll at school.

What is awesome is just that they see each other, like really see each other.

This line from Snow Patrol's "New York" reminds me so of Bay/Emmett

"If our hearts are never broken, then there's no joy in the mending. There's so much this hurt could teach us both."

i love how their relationship is what brought them into each other's worlds. bay really had no interest in learning about sign language or Deaf culture until she met emmett. and emmett probably would still have zero tolerance for hearing people if he hadn't met bay.

and here they are broken up, but bay is fighting to save a deaf school and emmett is sticking up for the hearing pilot kids.
