Where do you want to go before this summer is over?!: I wanted to visit Mystic Aquarium down by the shoreline in my state. My sisters got to go today but I had to work.

Best and Worst job you ever had?! Best job I guess was when I interned at a newspaper and it was really fun. Worst was the next summer when I interned at a film rental house and my jobs were relegated to getting pie crust.
 Do you have a favorite charity organization?! Not really. I support Pancreatic Cancer ones and I like Autism Speaks. Do you prefer sports or the arts?! Arts, I guess. All-time favorite movie couple? This is so hard. Oh wow....I really liked Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman in Someone Like You. So, they were Eddie and Jane.

What are your holiday plans? My daughter and I plan to visit my sister and her husband in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina for a Norman Rockwell style Thanksgiving. My sister is 17 years older than me, so she is like a second mom! And she has a beautiful home overlooking the mountains. It's so nice there.
Do you normally make resolutions for New Year's? Instead of making resolutions, I dream new dreams for my future. Favorite holiday food? Christmas Breakfast--spiral ham, egg casserole or quiche, homemade cinnamon rolls, good coffee. All-time favorite romantic comedy? All-time favorite horror movie? Per Emmett's comment in Les Soeurs d'Estrées , what is one of your top-five moments in life? And Alyssa, I love A Separate Peace. During my sophmore year of high school, I wrote my favorite literary analysis paper of all time on the motifs in that book. There were so many nuances to their relationship. It was so deep and overwhelming for me to contemplate. I adore Gene and Phineas. My personal all-time favorite book couple would have to be Nick and Jane from Susan Isaac's Almost Paradise. If you have never read it, you must find a copy soon! It is so good! |
