When I think back to Season 1A and 1B, there is so much I wanted to see. I want to explore Deaf culture more. I hope Sean Berdy will find a new role for viewers to watch and explore that world.

At least, I can still make jokes. Seriously, though, I am so angry that the writers mutilated a character that fans far and wide LOVED in Season 1A, and then, removed him almost entirely from their story.

They killed their show. There is no other way around it. His character was the most authentic voice in their story.

Try as the writers might, Travis does not replace Emmett. It is not the same. The relationship Travis has with other characters does not convey the same depth as the relationship Emmett has with those characters.

Daphne and Bay share a bond with Emmett, and Travis doesn't come close to that. Even Toby has a deeper bond with Emmett, because of their love of music and being in the band together. Travis's bond with Toby comes from the car wash. It's not the same. Even though both Travis and Toby are good at baseball, Toby avoided baseball. He chose music.

Travis just isn't a replacement for Emmett. My heart is broken about that.

I've decided I am going to think positive. I choose to believe that Lizzy Weiss would have given Sean Berdy a great story arc to deal with his depression, if the show had lasted another 10 episodes.

I am also choosing to believe that Lizzy Weiss will do justice to Emmett's character in the last episode.

I believe Emmett will have a happy ending on the show. That matters to me, and I do believe it.

I'm glad I kept my positive attitude and hope alive, too, until the very end. I don't regret that.

Emmett Bledsoe is absolutely my favorite all-time character, and Sean Berdy is my favorite actor. It's a shame what Lizzy Weiss did to his character along the way, but it only makes her look petty for allowing a behind-the-scenes conflict to mar her story.

Sean Berdy and Emmett Bledsoe shine from the beginning until the end. When I remember all of the beautiful, deep, heartfelt moments along the way, I am in awe of his ability to convey such emotion and depth.

LW must have been angry at him for something because his character didn't get much in the end. It's a shame -- Emmett started off as a favorite of mine, and then the writing for him declined .
