I cannot get over how much more I am liking Daphne this season. I have always loved Katie Leclerc, but now, I feel as though I am really connecting with Daphne's character. I can relate to her. I am rooting for her.

I agree. I have always liked Daphne. I may not have always agreed with her, but there's something about her this season. Maybe the blackmailing was the best thing that ever happened to her. It has made her more human and I, too, am rooting for her.

Maybe we could add some of the quotes from her blog about blackmailing Coto, since it was a brave thing to do, coming forward. And I was impressed by what she said.

I still cannot get over how much more I am liking Daphne this season. Anyone have any ideas as to why I am warming up to her?

It's nice for me. It adds more to my enjoyment of the show. She just seems so adorable and sincere this season. I never saw those qualities in her before now.

Well,I think sometimes it takes something bad happening to someone (the blackmail consequences) for someone to become more down to earth. Before that she was many times given a pass for behavior due to her parents wanting to make her comfortable in that family.

Yes, agreed.

I've always liked Daphne, but I think now she's been humbled in a way. Even with Jeff, that wasn't as much of a mistake as this was. Jeff didn't really hurt anybody except for her, and well, later on Carrie, despite Jeff claiming they were broken up.

She's become more confident and less apologetic and self-reliant. All good qualities to have.

She knows she messed up, but she's not going to let it define her. And she's not going to keep defending herself for it. It was a huge screw up, but she's making up for it.

I don't know.

I think Daphne will always enjoy creating food. Even if she does go for pre-med, I could still see her doing stuff with food.
