I was totally onboard with Melody tonight - she did what she had to in order to look out for Emmett's best interest. She even felt bad about having to drag Bay into it, it was the only eye-witness she really had, though.

I think I'm back to liking her again after the whole 'I hate Bay' with her seems to be over. She was definitely looking out for Emmett in this episode and only wanted to bring Bay into it to help him. I hope she gets custody, and now with what Emmett's father said it looks like she will.

I can just imagine her reaction to finding out he cheated on Bay. It would be ironic if Melody was the facilitator in getting them back together in the event of a break up.

You really think Melody would help getting them back together? She now sees just how much Bay cares for her son.

I think it would be interesting to see Melody in that position of trying to get them back together.

Depends - first she has to talk with Emmett about what happened, get his honest take on it, what the one-night stand meant, etc before she intervenes on his behalf and tries to convince Bay to forgive him. She might have been cheated on and understand how Bay feels.

Sadly, though, usually women who forgive cheaters once get cheated on again. Why should Bay put up with it? Pacey never cheated on Joey - despite the fact that he was offered by a Simone-like character in "A Winter's Tale."

Didn't ship B/E before ... and now I don't want Emmett with anybody. He was attracted to Simone enough to go with her to her room, etc. There were multiple times to turn back. He ignored them all. The same boy who kissed Daphne and then said, "I'm with Bay" never said that once to Simone. Never crossed his mind. Emmett's spiraling out of control and Bay can't allow herself to be dragged down with him. She needs to cut him loose - at least for a while. She can't be the one who gets blamed. She went to Emmett's Dad, and he slept with somebody. He clearly made the bigger error.

I'd like to see Bay and Melody become good friends even when Bay/Emmett are still broken up. Interesting - how will Melody/Regina be affected by the B/E breakup when it's revealed what happened?
