More than anything else, I just want Regina to grab Bay at some point in these last season one episodes and give her a friggin hug!! Her and Bay are always kinda cold in showing the feelings I know, but dude everyone wants a hug from their mom! C'mon

I think a show of affection will happen eventually - it's quite possible that during a point when Bay is feeling at her lowest, and she breaks down, she will allow Regina to embrace her to offer comfort, because she needs it.

It's one of those moments that feels like is being built-up.

I'd like to see Bay crying in her room and Regina would walk by and see her, come in and hold her.... I've been wanting to Bay to allow Regina to hold her, Kathryn might be her mother but Regina's probably been waiting for the moment that she can truly share a moment with her daughter.

I know Regina would want to comfort Bay, if only Bay lets her.

Yeah, hopefully the show doesn't continue to drag it out for too long, I mean, I know some of the drama and it's build-up is needed to keep things interesting and to make things happen, but too much dragging out can become pointless and boring.

Eventually, you stop sympathizing with certain situations - and not to sound mean, but you start to feel like ... 'let's get over it already!' Not that this diminishes certain feelings the characters are entitled to have or anything.

I understand what you mean completely. At some point it drags on and you feel like nothing is being resolved. You need growth at some point, you know? Otherwise it becomes stagnant.

Right. Eventually, you seek the resolution in one form or another.

Well, I definitely think Regina marrying Angelo for Bay will help their relationship. I like that they had that emotional scene outside the courthouse, and what Regina did was such a motherly instinct. Her baby was hurting and she wanted to fix it, albeit it may in the long run make things way worse but I loved that Regina did that for Bay.
And I liked their conversation regarding Emmett. |
