#301 “Drowning Girl" ~ Episode Discussion ~ Season 3 PREMIERE!!!!!
"Drowning Girl" Air Date: January 13, 2014 In the third-season opener, the girls begin their senior year at Carlton, where Toby takes on a coaching position. Meanwhile, Kathryn befriends a tap dancer; Daphne starts her probation work at a free clinic; and Bay's new art teacher inspires her.  So happy I can finally make this thread. TFTNT!!  I am super duper excited for this and The Fosters! Finally I'll have stuff to watch on tv (other than hockey, Criminal Minds, Big Bang Theory, random documentaries, and the news). I'm excited for Daphne! She needs a whole lot of redemption due to 2B. I hope they do her justice. __________________

Just about 55 hours to go! I am REALLY excited.
My students are, too. They were so cute on Friday. Some of them came back to my classroom after school to talk Switched at Birth!  |

I have a last episode of Sherlock to get out of my system before I can let Switched at Birth fully take hold. I don't think I could cope with both at once
 That said, I will be up at a ridiculously early hour on my Tuesday morning, bursting with anticipation, to catch up with the premiere, which airs in the middle of my Monday night. Time zones, eh? |

Yet another unappealing premiere episode.
Only thing remotely interesting was one Emmett and Bay scene in the opening and Tank. Other than that, I wasn't really interested in the episode. I do have to point out something.. Bay wanted to go upstairs and hook up with a random guy and it have it mean nothing yet she can't forgive a one night stand Emmett had? Especially with a girl that meant nothing to him. Hypocritical. I'm not sure I want Bay with Emmett anymore, he deserves better. I pray the writers change my mind about Bay but my patience has gone out the window waiting for her to wake up. Ty lied to Bay because she couldn't take a hint.. "Lets just keep it simple, leave with good memories" Which means, this was really fun, I care about you but let's part on good terms.. Sick to death of not having Emmett in the episodes.  |

I am so happy that SAB picked up Max.
He was the shinning light of this episode. Tank is a great character. Daphne's stuff seems good too, and I'm happy they're expanding her relationship with Toby. __________________
