How could I have ever forgotten about Ty being right there in the pilot? :crazy: :lol:

I'm not big on pilots, but I liked this one. I like how they did not dwell on it too long, but got us introduced to all the main characters within a short time.

It immediately struck me how loving the Kennish family is. John and Kathryn accept Bay for who she is. I'm not just talking about her looks, she's different; into art, not sports.
That Bay and Toby have a good brother-sister relationship. :)

The scene at the genetic centre was so good. Kathryn taking Bay's hand all the time, not letting go.

Meeting at the house. Kathryn and Daphne both saying "be nice" :lol:

I've been feeling for Bay since the beginning. She's not handling things very well, especially not compared to Daphne, but I'm still on her side. The Kennishes seem to be way more interested in Daphne than Regina is in Bay.
I mean, Regina just leaves Daphne there. Why didn't she stay to talk to Bay?

John, Kathryn and Regina talking about Daphne being deaf. As much as I will have problems with John later on, I didn't think it was an invalid question: "How did she get the meningitis?" He was just asking, no need for Regina to go all defensive.
On the other hand, John going to Regina's house was over the line.
I mean, it came from a good heart, he just wants the best for Daphne. But it's kind off arrogant to assume that he knows what's best.
Going to Daphne to get her to go to Buckner Hall. Ugh. Dislikeable.

Aaaah, Emmett seeing Bay for the first time :love:
