My return to FanForum brings me with the intentions on gathering the RINGER fans to help in what may be our last chance to save RINGER for a second season. Ive researched and havent seen many campaign efforts to save the show, but for those who dont know, RINGER is in great danger of being canceled. The facts are it is the CWs lowest rated series, the finale aired in April, way earlier then all the others, and is not receiving amazing reviews from a lot of entertainment critics.

E! Online is doing their annual Save One Show Campaign and this is the FINAL week to vote AS MANY TIMES as possible to help keep RINGER on air. We already have a great head start as Ringer has been battling the 2nd and 3rd spot in the 6 shows remaining in the FINAL round which ends Sunday, April 29 at 5pm ET. As put by E, the winning show will be pretty much wrapped up in a bow and personally delivered to the presidents office and we will have E! campaigning for the winning show. So guys, lets get this info out there, send to all Sarah Michelle Gellar major fansites and relations to RINGER because we have a few days to attempt to save the show. It seems this is our only shot with not knowing what the CW has planned for the shows future.

TWEET #Ringer for #SaveOneShow campaign and attach this VERY important link to the voting polls which is what we need to be voting on to save Ringer.

LOVE IT and will so, I voted and it states Ringer has 23.2%!!!!

I know, we were in 2nd place all week, and suddenly today Community has shot up :(

I really do hope Ringer can be #1 in the voting but #2 is pretty good right now.

Edit: Oh I just voted for Ringer, it's now #3:(

Does that mean, if Ringer is not the winner of the last round they will cancel it? :(

Yeah I have heard about SMGs pregnancy. I am so happy for her :yay:

I don't think it would effect filming for a s2 too much. I am sure they could work around it, but we will have to see :shrug:

If Ringer doesn't come 1st it doesn't mean they will nessarily cancel it just because of that. I think the coming first is just a good thing to show the creators, that people do love the show :nod:

I fell pretty behind in this forum in just a couple of days lol.

They have some stories for seasons planned out but it has not yet been renewed, and it does not look good, its currently sitting at likely to be cancelled.

We should know by May 15th if it will be renewed or cancelled.

The last time I saw the scores on save one show before they stopped showing the scores ringer had fallen into 3rd place.

Just hoping they take a look at the whole picture of ringers success rather than just the TV ratings. It got poor TV ratings but great ones on iTunes and etc.

I was really amazed at some of the really poor reviews I read online about ringer, with a fair few professional critics basically just hating it and calling it another soap opera.

As for SMGs pregnancy, I agree that I am sure they can work around it if we get season 2, maybe even work it in to the show.
I would just be thrilled and die if Andrew and Bridgette had a baby(s).
I really have come to dislike Siobhan and I really hope that her twins are not Andrew's, since they are obviously not Henry's.
Hopefully there was some other guy she was sleeping around with that we just do not know about lol.

So we will know pretty soon about the shows fate then :nod:

I think the cw is one of the only networks that does consider other things besides ratings, when they are renewing shows :nod: I am just hoping that it likes Ringer and is willing to give it another chance :D

Yeah, I am sure it would be possible for the writers to fit SMGs pregnancy around the show :nod: Many other actresses in other shows have :)

She's in difficult situation now ... with 2 newborn children and without money but I'm sure she'll find the way ... as always
