Yeah, I agree that Ringer and the CW don't seem like a good match But I don't think anything can be done about that now.
We just have to hope that the CW gives it a s2, because I don't know if another network will take it

Yeah I admit I feel a bit old these days on ... I also think it's a lot harder to post on some boards, people are not very eager to welcome you if you haven't been there from the beginning/are part of a clique. So I don't even know.

As for the CW... hm, yes but Hart of Dixie doesn't really aim at teenagers either. Neither does Nikita. I suppose if it comes down to Ringer and another show they will pick the one which is cheaper to produce. As do all networks. Frankly I think the CW is as good as any network... I mean isn't FOX the one that is notorious for cancelling things pretty early on? It's been a long time that I watched anything on NBC (The West Wing) or CBS (Judging Amy). So I don't know where it would be better placed it's not quirky enough for USA. Not a period piece or super super edgy like stuff on AMC. So yeah... anyway. I just keep my fingers crossed that we get a renewal and if it's only for 13 episodes.

Aaw, well I hope you don't feel like that here

Yeah, I think they would pick a cheaper show over Ringer too But I am hoping that it will not come to that. A 13 episode season at least, would also satisfy me I think
I think the CW does normally give shows a s2 to see what happens I can't think of many shows they have cancelled after only 1 season

They cancelled Pepper Dennis when they were still The WB. That was pretty upsetting to me. But you are right usually they give it another go. Roswell or Veronica Mars for instance.

And no, this is really lovely. You've been very welcoming.

Yeah, I remember they gave Roswell a fair chance And although I didn't watch Hellcats, I believe they gave it a go at a 2nd season too

I just think I am more worried about this, because I have heard that the CW are planning to cancel a couple of shows anyway It is just which ones?

That is good to hear

I think Gossip Girl should be cancelled. I'm sorry but it's getting so damn old.

I thought Hellcats was cancelled after the first season but one has to be fair it was one of the worst shows ever.

I watched the first season of gossip girl on and off, but haven't since I think they have only one last season planned but I am not certain

Was it after 1 season? I thought it had 2 seasons I never watched it so I can't say

I think my beef with Gossip Girl is that it is damn ridiculous and every other episode Blair makes another decision whom to chose out of Chuck, Nate and Dan and that for five season now. I'm just saying. I admit I only watched two episodes of Hellcats, and you know I watch a lot of awful things but that was just too awful. Again, no offence to anyone who enjoys watching. As I said, I watch heaps of awful things myself.

Back to ... shouldn't One Tree Hill be cancelled? I mean it's been 10 seasons or so. Ah... it may never die or I won't live to see its end. I'm just saying if they want to re-new their image, some old things have to go. And they need to keep some quality programmes like Ringer, it's not like they have those in abundance at the moment.

Yeah, gossip girl has got far too repetitive

I believe OTH finished its last season a few weeks ago It was about time I think I used to enjoy the earlier seasons, but I do think it went on for too long

All these dramas around highschool and college run out of steam pretty quickly, I feel. Frankly, looking back the only one I enjoyed was probably "Felicity" and there I have to say I was thankful that it ended well after four seasons. I wish Keri Russell was back on TV.

Anyway... so OTH was one of the cancellations then, I guess.

Yeah, I feel the same. It must be a sign that I am getting older

I know that TVD, 90210 and SPN have all been renewed

I think they chose to end OTH this year, so it wasn't technically cancelled, but I could be wrong. I remember watching the first season of that show, I can't believe it was 8 years ago.

I never got into GG and Hellcats, one episode was enough for me

I loved Felicity, that was a great show. I look fondly back on tv in the 90's, many of my favourite shows are from that era

That is amazing that 90210 gets other season. I thought it was on the verge to cancellation after the first one. TVD is not a surprise. I would have thought they would end SPN by now I mean didn't it come up the same year as OTH?

And yes... the late 90s were really good for telly.

Yes, I am still surprised that 90210 has gotten a renewal And TVD was a guaranteed renewal

I did think that this season was going to be the last for SPN, but obviously I was wrong

90s was really great for tv Maybe because I was a child then, that I look back with good memories. But I do also think that tv was generally better anyway

I think shows were definitely given more of a chance then and perhaps they tested a lot more different concepts then. Especially after "Twin Peaks".

Yeah I'm surprised I mean didn't they say a few seasons ago that it would be six seasons and that's that? I might be wrong.
