Like the Adam and Eddy said, Jamie knew he was only gonna be in 7 episodes- i can understand this, they started the show knowing where things are gonna go and so on, and it did feel like that he was not a long term character when i watched.

True. And yet he is still my favorite of Emma's suitors. I wish it were otherwise but you cannot always help what you like. And I love that he saved both her parents' lives.

I was watching like I do now week to week. I was suprised by the Charming twins and Red being the wolf. I was spoiled by Graham and the promo. I wasent into Emma's love life at the time but it sucks that he died in the episode I started to care for him as a character. I could've ship them though

I didnt get into Graham/Emma - something was missing, an edge. I liked season 1 was Emma's journey to getting to know her son and breaking the curse, but i thought and always felt that Emma's romance will have to be important in how she is and someone who totally gets how she is - accept who and how she is really, (whenever they decided to introduce her romance - so this was my thinking whilst watching S1) , coz she isnt like the rest of them - and with that fairytale-ish attitude and stance

Im glad he saved their lives too and it was only fitting imo that Emma was the one to bring his memories back and give him some freedom i guess

I watched the first season in a few days too, and I never really got attached to Graham.

I've read and seen the twist of Red being a elf before so it wasn't a big surprise. Rumple being the Beast did surprise me and made me fall in love with the show.

But I figured early on that Bae was alive and Henry's father.

I do like that s1 was about her breaking the curse and being a mom then her love life. I felt she needed to do some steps before she fell in love

Which she did, which Jen herself very well put in a interview she did

First she needed to accepted her son and parents and then only then she can allow LOVE and fall in love... Like her journey has steps in them which in each season follows it seems
