I'm really surprise by it actually. Deception was bad enough, but another on top of it too? Think the writers have to be carefully how they write it otherwise Belle could come off too unrealistically naive and ridiculous. I was glad Emilie kinda said the same and if Belle gets a little p.o'd then from my perspective...about time girl!

We'll see.

Belle's going to get flack no matter what she does. If she doesn't leave people will say she's a doormat and if she does leave she'll be blamed for leaving a man who has obviously suffered a lot. It's kind of a no win situation. I'll support her no matter what but I don't want Belle to come off looking stupid.

Completely agree and I got the impression from one of the interviews neither did Emilie. She rarely does any PR, so it's hard to read her, but I really got the impression that she thinks Belle should be angry (and allow to show it) at Rumple.

IMHO, there is a line between forgiving someone and being a doormat. I'm fine with Belle's character being the former, it's the latter that drives me batty!

There's a theme to this half of the season.
But I want things to go this way.

Rumple just makes things worse. We know he will, not only because Robert said so, but because Rumple has 300 yeras of habits and we know that it's hard to break. Addiction and power especially so in his world where he was weak, etc.

When he does said dumbass thing. Belle kicks him to the curb with the caveat, think about what you really want, make an effort, if I see you making a real attempt I'll be there for you, and we can work on the trust issues, etc in our marriage.

Archie for couple counseling? I'm sure OQ, CS and even Snowing could use some.

I want Rumple to work for Belle and the marriage. Belle can stick by him but only if he really tries to quit the addiction.


There's many things that could be going on in Rumple's head and none of which I thoguht would be cool. So this is the best I coudl thnk of.

Maybe as more things are hinted at we'll see what everyone is up to and get a good idea where the stories are going

I would love for him to work for Belle. Which, up to now, she has been pretty much the one who just thinks about it and comes back to him.

I'm just not sure the writers will have him do that. It's going to be a huge disappointment if he doesn't though.

Archie should be the richest man in town with all the business he should be getting from these effed up fairy tale characters.

I really, really want to see Rumple have to work to win Belle back. I think he may hit rock bottom this season and that might make him come to the realization that he needs to change.

My speculation with these two: I think Rumple is going to do worse things trying to cover up the dagger issue and then by episode four when someone blackmails him he is about to do something so bad and gets caught and Belle calls it quits. Then he spends the rest of Season Four winning her back

I think this season is focusing on romantic love, being worthy of love and characters taking their own journey to find themselves and deserving love. Rumple has really only tried to be good for other people (Bae and Belle) so if he were to try and change for himself then he could ultimately give up being the Dark One and be able to truly love.

But all our "villians" have only tried to be good for other people. Hook for Emma, Reigna for Henry, possibly Robin now. So yes it has to be for himself, so it may not be as easy as for Hook or Regina

I think it might not be in Rumple's ability to break the curse in SB. I do think that he's always going to have to fight the darkness the curse brings to him.
Unlike the others his curse makes it worse and harder to change. But he'll have to try.

I hope it's not all S4 that they are split.

I would hope it's not all of season 4 either. After being separated almost all of season 3? Enough is enough. I don't expect sunshine and rainbows but that's going too far.

I have never had a problem with him wanting to change for someone else. And yes, the other villains do it too. I actually think it makes the other people even more special, Belle, Emma, Henry, Robin, that these people love them that much that they'll change years of behavior because they see something good in them.
