She really has tears in her eyes.. I think she was really scared that she wouldn't see her friend again

I love how Mulan was worried about Aurora last night :).

Me too

It was killing me seeing hate being sent Mulan's way because she was just doing what she said she'd do - protect Aurora.

On another note, I love how much more we're seeing of Aurora. Not backing down to Cora was a major plus especially when she refused Cora's offer. She's always had this backbone to her, we just haven't seen it till recently :D

A lot of fans didn´t like Aurora but she´s very brave .

That's why I'm thinking that whenever we see a little of Mulan's backstory and we find out more about her, her actions as a soldier would make more sense. A lot of people didn't like that she took the compass and she took off running, but as far as I was concerned, she saw that as a chance to save Aurora and, ultimately, that is her duty (and I felt like, in this episode, Mulan was the only one who cared for Aurora as a person - Snow and Emma only saw her a means to get back home once they found out what she could do. I cringed when Emma said that Aurora had to go back to sleep to talk to Henry again).

It didn´t bother me that Mulan ran off. She was worried about Aurora. It´s not like she was working with Cora or wanted the compass for herself.

Can I be added, please? :flowers: Mulan/Aurora is what finally got me into this show.

Welcome .

I also saw this lovely Mulan/Aurora meta piece on tumblr. It was a good read and I agree with it.
Sketches on a Summer Day — Mulan!Meta: Bodyguard to Best Friend (and why shipping Mulora makes sense)

I love when people fully delve into their analysis into the show and for my favorite pairing (friendship or romantic). If I was half as good with words as this person and the other meta posts I've seen, I'd write my own, haha.

:flowers: Could I be added as well?! I like their dynamic. Their first scenes, I felt tense to, lol, but I think Mulan is a true warrior and friend. She's honorable in keeping her committment to Philip to keep Aurora safe at all costs and she's not afraid to take risks. She's brave in her own right. I almost get the big sis/little sis vibe from them. Especially when Mulan was confronting Aurora about the burns on her arms and the dangers of going back in and Aurora protesting, that she knew what she was doing and needed to do it in order to help out.

Ah! The person has added a Part II.
Sketches on a Summer Day — Mulan!meta: The 'LOOK' (and why it explodes my shipper!heart everytime)

Actually, Emma had her fault as well. When she asked Aurora to go back to sleep, her attitude was awful, as if Aurora was just a tool whereby she was able to communicate with her son and take the princess's generous help for granted. :(
