I think it's just a case of it being a convenient save-face for Tamara. Had he remained a big boy there wouldn't be a logical reason for him to have a memory wipe that'd have kept Tamara's shady plans secret.

That too.

Maybe. But he could have lost his memories anyway. He could have not remember anything since he was turned into all wood.

This.

I cracked my jaw, from the yawning.

This show is starting to be a disappointment for me.

This was a terrible episode to me. So boring until the last ten seconds when I started shouting "EW" at the tv. This show doesn't know how to introduce new characters at all.

I thought it was a great episode! I'm not too happy about August turning into a little boy, but it's preferable to being dead I suppose.

So after everything that August did.....all the mistakes he made... is...wiped away through magic?

He's 7 years old again.... and...... that's it?

No apologies to Neal? Emma?

I wonder if he was from a Chinese folk tale.

I wish he had gotten a scene with Neal and talked about what he really did with the money Neal gave him.

I believe they just wanted to wrap up his storyline really fast. The twist sucks and I wonder how much little August remembers. I can't imagine being a kid again with my adult memories.

If he gets to do that. Then Emma gets to go back to being a baby. That is how dumb that was.

No, I think he chose his name for more literal reasons that everyone else thought.

Agree.

I see ratings tanking on the horizon. They've GOT to find the story structure again, and stop trying to Pull A Lost with introducing new threads/characters/stories that have to intersect, but end up looking sloppy and trite.

August, and the actor, deserved better. The character of Pinocchio is one of the most beloved of fairytales. And while we may have gotten him back as "a real [little] boy" again, it felt like a complete cop-out to me.
