In the story her father died when she was pretty young so she was mostly raised as a peasant.

But they didn't get into any of that on the show so we don't really know.

Again - I was more into the flashbacks scenes than the story in Storybrook.
I actually didn't really like Cinderella in either
Not that I disliked her, just not the biggest fan I suppose.

Regina/Sheriff seemed a bit predictable.

I was happy Cinderella in Storybrook got to keep her baby, but I was practically screaming at Emma for making a deal with Rumple.

I actually thought this was a pretty good episode.

I really liked the stuff with Mr. Gold and also Emma/Henry in SB.

I didn't care for Ashley or Cinderella but when I rewatch it I don't mind her as much. Physically I thought she was perfect as Cinderella. And on a totally shallow note, her gown was gorgeous as was Snow's at the ball. I enjoyed the stuff with Rumple in the past as well.

It's funny how they didn't come back to the favor Emma owed Gold until the next season.

I think if they had fleshed out Ashley/Cinderella a little more or it would have been better.

Honestly, Ella's story interest the least. I was more fascinated with Emma and wanted more about her life, and the Rumple/Mr. Gold story was so intriguing.

Another great episode!

First off I will always love Emma's speech to Ashley in the laundry room!

I really liked Ashley/Ella's story, and how it worked out in the end. I love that Emma stood up to Gold and made a deal with him for Ashley.

So happy when Sean came back to Ashely and their daughter in the end. They make a cute couple!

Yes, this was me too!! I really didn't care about Ashley although I think the actress is adorable and was perfectly cast. I loved the Emma angle and the Rumple/Gold angle. This was one of my favorite episodes from the first part of the season.

Beautiful. The clothing in that episode in particular was spectacular. I loved the ball.

6.03 does fill in the Cinderella blanks. However this episode does work well as a stand alone
