Ya know, I didn't think it was possible, but they both have become my two favourite newest editions to the show. And I am genuinely interested in finding out what the history with the characters is. Especially if Neal turns out to be a lost boy, which all evidence seems to suggest that he is.

The fact that they haven't interacted directly yet, tells me that their first proper reunion is being saved for something important.

I agree. And I hope the reunion won't be full with old hatred or whatever. I can see them being rivals but I hope they won't be enemies...

The way Neal said "Hook" when he saw him wasn't much friendly though...

I think that would be likely. Because the way that Hook talks about the Lost Boys I just don't see him and Neal hating each other. But they could have parted on bad terms. Maybe Neal/Bae realized who Hook really was. I think they both need friends in SB so if they become each others friends that would be great. But really I'm open for any kind of relationship between them.

One of my theories is that Neal/Bae told Hook about Rumples Dagger. Because before he went to Neverland Hook had no clue about the dagger, but when he came back and found Belle in Regina's castle he knew about it. The only place he was during that time was Neverland and Neal/Bae was there as well. I think that Neal/Bae would have been resentful of his father for a while for letting him go. He was angry when he went in the hole and called his dad a coward. So I could see him, being a child still and wanting to trust an adult with his problems. Because lets face it Hook can be charming when he wants something, if he realized who Bae was he would have used that to his advantage. But he would have had to become close to Neal/Bae and gain his trust before Neal/Bae would have told him anything.

That would be funny, seeing how now Neal is older I can totally see Hook saying "Iz you boy, wow!" and ruffle his hair and Neal would be like "Dude, I'm all grown up"

This age thing is very disturbing! Snow and Charming being as old as their daughter and Hook being younger than his former lover's kid... I mean, what if Snow and Charming have a kid... It's like the movie "Time out"

I agree, I don't think they hate each other, if they were enemies AND Hook had tried to kill Rumpel, I would have expected more anger in Neal's reaction but he didn't even seen surprised.

You make a good point they both need friends and this show doesn't really have any strong male friendships (except for people who are related), where as they have Ruby/Snow, Ruby/Belle and Mulan/Aurora.

I think your right and Neal/Bae probably mentioned the dagger or a weapon at some point during their time in Neverland. Also, Hook might not have realised there would be an issue if he killed Rumpel because Bae has been trying to avoid any contact with his father for 300+ years.
