#35: The Clock Moves, "Pilot"

Ah, the pilot episode. The one that started it all and launched our journey into the show. There were many great moments from that first chapter, but none so enticing as when the clock finally moved and signaled that Emma was staying put and time was moving forward again. The fantastic music from series composer Mark Isham underscored the happiness we shared with Henry. Storybrooke would never be the same, and we haven't looked back since!

Charming was awesome in the pilot. I mean, sword fighting while carrying a baby?! That's awesome. And Adam and Eddy were originally going to kill off his character, but the network was like, "No!"

This is a good pilot. The show has a lot of promise.

Such an interesting concept too. Fairytale characters living in our world. I remember watching Jennifer Morrison on House. So far I really like her portrayal of the Emma character. And her being the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. Not your traditional fairytale story. But it’s got a nice twist.

Hopefully the curse will be broken, and Emma will believe Henry, eventually. Can’t wait for her to find out that Mary Margaret is really her mother. I also want to see Charming wake up from his coma.

If the series is successful, I wonder how many seasons it will have? Lost lasted for at least six years.
