Swordfighting David. That was *his* moment to shine. His character was up in the air, it was the pilot, so it looks like he knocked it out of the park.
I wonder if that acting saved his character? Looking back at how well Josh has played David, and even James over the years, I can't imagine OUAT without him honestly. It would be such a a vastly different show. __________________

Thinking back when I watched the pilot years ago (my favorite moments) and I fell in
love with the show instantly: - Emma walking in that dress at the beginning of the episode and hitting that guy in that car (I've always wanted that guy to come back to the show) - Prince Charming swordfighting to protect baby Emma - Gold meeting Emma - Snow White throwing the sword towards Regina at her wedding. __________________

If I remember correctly, Adam and Eddy wanted to kill Charming but the network was like, "Oh no!"
Charming swordfighting while carrying a baby, that will always be awesome and just thinking about how we literally saw Jared grow up on screen too. He was ten when the pilot aired and now, he's what 17 or 18. __________________

I'm pretty sure Adam and Eddy have admitted that they did consider killing off Charming at some point in the 8 years it took to get Once on the air, but that they'd long since changed their minds on that by the time they shot the Pilot, so, no, ABC would have had no bearing on that decision.

I know, but it makes sense. I measure my relationship with my spouse the same. We were BF/GF for the duration of the show and now, we're married.
