Thanks for starting the new thread.
Here's hoping the numbers continue to stay strong.

TFTNT.

I really do believe that splitting the season into two helped the ratings.

Agree. It makes it easier to follow the story and builds momentum at the right pace. Instead of having to stop/start and have mini-arcs set to the breaks. It was easier to plan too. No need to remeber if it was or wasn't on this Sunday. Best idea from the network.

I agree. I think it's best to keep up with the split season arcs for two reasons. One, it flowed better and helped keep the audience enamored, and two, the quality of the writing was better. They had a beginning, middle, and end, and they didn't get lost in a million different directions like in S2.

WHich made the flow better. They did one continuing tale, and less mini-arcs to suit the breaks hence a better way to tell the story. Much improved.

Looking forward to next season 4

I do think the split seasons worked better, but I do think the Neverland arc was a bit too long for 11 eps as it was, and the WW arc was a bit too rushed. So the 11/11 split isn't always ideal - I do still prefer it to how S2 was structured, though.

I agree, I think because the Neverland story technically started in Season 2 with Greg & Tamara it maybe seemed longer. I think they also spent too many episodes walking in circles in the jungle.

The WW and Oz had so many characters to introduce it did seem rushed, plus they used the last two episodes for the finale. It will be interesting to see if there are two different villains in 4A & 4B or if the story is just split in two ...

I was thinking about that whether they will deal with 2 main villains for 2 arcs...

'Snow Drifts' & 'There's No Place Like Home' - Live +7 Ratings adjusted the finale up to a 3.4.

I'm kind of hoping they don't ... I want to know about the villains, especially since they all have a backstory and trying to fit it into only 11 episodes just doesn't leave enough room to get us invested in that story AND still move the main characters forward, too.

The split is good. May not need a villain for each half though. That may get old fast.

Like the numbers
