This is one of the best studies I've seen of the differences between young Bae and grown-up, jaded, wounded Neal. We saw the beginning of the journey between them in SSTTR/SOTM but we need the rest--just as in S3A we saw, I think, the start of Neal's journey back to Bae.

I was going to try to embed some of the tweets from the AskMRJ but apparently my copy and paste skillz are not what I thought. Anyway, it's all here at his Twitter.

Some teeny tiny spoilers but to me it reads as if he's deliberately trying to stay away from the spoilery things (no surprise--didn't he get in trouble last year for letting a big spoiler slip? I think I read that Adam banned him from Twitter for a while). He seems like a chill guy. LOL he made his dog a Twitter account!

I'm not really sure about the first one; maybe I'm spreading malicious rumors. But I thought he mentioned it in an interview last spring. (The loose-lipped part, not the doggie part.)

Yes, but I'm almost sure I remember an interview from last spring where he said he'd been roundly scolded for loose lips. Does anyone else recall this? Is there a collection of interviews somewhere that I could check?

Ya know, at first I thought he and Bae didn't look that much alike. But after seeing him in ER, clean shaven and with more of a fro, yeah I can actually see it. Adam and Eddy made the right call casting him for the part.

If I had to guess the choices Neal made to cut his hair and grow a goatee was all done as a way to reinvent himself to pretend he was a different person, and forget his past. I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to put it all behind him, especially Neverland.

God, I wish the writers could go deeper into how much Neverland affected him psychologically.

Neverland was a complete bust when it came to exploring the characters of the people who lived or were stuck there--Neal, Hook, Tink, and Wendy.
