“Murder Most Foul” — Before Hook takes the next step in his relationship with Emma, he wants to make sure David sees him as more than just a pirate. So when David asks Hook to help him uncover the truth about his father’s death, Hook agrees. Meanwhile, Regina works to acclimate Robin to life in Storybrooke, but soon discovers he has a dark side that makes the task much more complicated than she anticipated, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, MARCH 12 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network.

Josh did an absolutely fabulous and amazing job. So underused. But when he gets a chance, he's brillaint!

Regina is so focused on how different this new Robin is that she seems to be unaware of how different she is. As long as she is separated from her evil self, she will remain a ghost of her former self. I'm not saying that when she re-emerges with her evil self, her relationship with WR Robin will get better. I don't have any high hopes in that regard. But she needs to realize that she is not a complete person.

Though I sensed were everything was headed, I was still disappointed at the end. So much was made of how noble Hook was being compared to David. Yet by making him Robert's killer, it tainted everything Hook did in this episode. Instead of showing he was worthy of Emma, all his actions smacked of self serving. I'm not even going to discuss how he could have even been there when Robert was killed as he was supposed to be in Neverland. I was amused that the only one who wasn't being selfish in this eposide was Rumple. Quite a role reversal for everyone.

How long was Hook in Neverland?

Well, Rumple is about 200 - 300 years old. He met up with Hook and Milah shortly after Bae left. After Rumple killed Milah, Hook left for Neverland to get the means to kill Rumple. So that would have been 3-5 years after he became the Dark One. Hook returned while Regina was fighting with Snow and Charming. So he would not have been around when Robert was killed.
