What you are writing here people is a load of nonsense. How can you suggest that there is or ever will be something between Emma/Gold.
The only reason he is getting close to her is because he knows that she is the only one who can break the curse, and as such be a powerful asset in his battle with the EQ. He is using her.
His true love interest you saw 2 episodes ago. And even if they kill off Belle his feelings won't disappear just like that. Emma's also got someone else in sight.
How can you watch a show and not have a clue what is going on. Stop deluding yourselves.

Eliza: He did smile at her! It's those little looks, the smiles, the lip licking that has fueled my shipping between Emma/Gold. I love reading between the lines and not having everything spelled out to me. The writers can write something one way, but that doesn't mean I feel it. Whenever Emma/Gold are in a scene together I can feel the chemistry.

I'm looking forward to reading your fic! I'm a little backed up in my reading right now.

Seda: You bring up a good point. The hate seems to be all on one side, the fans of the Evil Queen/Regina against Emma, or other characters they don't deem good enough. I agree with you, they'll pick apart others and then excuse her behavior. I notice it seems like people that don't like Jennifer don't like Emma either.

I also agree that if Lana wasn't pretty then she wouldn't have so many fans. But that's the sad part about it. I have no problem liking villains, they are usually more interesting than the heroes. That said, I can't like Regina more than Emma. Not after all she's done, which we still don't know the reason for. It better be a damn good one and not over a man or something.

RumpelGold: I feel sorry for people who can only ship canon pairs. It really depends if the two people have chemistry, then I have no problem shipping it, but I can't do it just because the show wants you to ship them.

Kendra: I agree! I thought his house would be a lot nicer and definitely more secluded. I guess things will always be better in our imagination.

I think those lyrics are from Lightning Strike by Snow Patrol. That was from a texture as well, but I liked it because it reminded me of that Emma/Gold video that FataFaby made to that song.

You are right though. It would be far too interesting than what will actually happen on the show. I don't really look forward to it, but hey, I can always stop watching.

In the meantime I'm very happy being deluded and watching the show.

Hi First of all before posting in a thread over here maybe you should read the forum rules I won't say anything about this because some other made mistakes about it and you obviously are a new fan so...

You can't go in a couple/shipper thread saying their couple is "nonsense". By the way, in a show/or a book NOTHING is nonsense, you always imagine the story your way and none is true or wrong.
Of course Gold is/was getting closer to Emma to use her with the favor but it absolutely doesn't mean it will always be the case. Most of the time, when you get closer to someone you learn more about that person and end up liking him/her for who he/she is which by the way didn't happen with his "love interest" 2 episodes ago.
And of course feelings don't disappear like that, but it doesn't matter because if he ever love Emma like we hope he will, it will be a lot much stronger since she will love him despite who he is, even if he's the Dark One and not a man anymore, she won't think she can love him, she will love him and that's all and she won't try to change him like his "love interest" 2 episodes ago, and that's why we ship them.

Did you just call a bunch of people clueless and delusional because they dare ship an unusual and non conventional pairing between two television characters, one that apparently does not meet with your approval?
I'm sure this is rhetorical but I'll answer anyway, since it's addressed to "people"... It's called imagination. Same thing the writers of OUaT use to write the show.

It was Belle who ended up liking or loving him for who he trully is. This was the whole point of the Beauty and the Beast episode. Emma hasn't even met his true self and yet you already know she could love him. Besides adults can talk to each other and like each other without falling in love.
Because yes I believe Gold likes Emma, but in a purely platonic way, no physical attraction there.

I can't see the chemistry, sorry. Even if that was needed, the actress playing Emma can't really build up chemistry, she couldn't do it with Graham or the Stranger, let alone with Gold. Sure their scenes and dialogues are good but it is because of good writing and because of him. What you are mistakenly taking for chemistry is his charisma.
You are right, of course. This is your thread so you can talk whatever nonsense you want here. Good luck with that.

Magja: Belle NEVER loved him for who he is, if you remember correctly she said:
1. "I think I could love him"
2. "I didn't want to come back then something changed my mind" ( = Regina)
3. "She was right! the curse can be broken!" (or something like that)

The only thing she thinks about is about Rumple becoming a man again, never once she's accepted him as the Beast like in the real fairytale, if that's what YOU call true love then good for you, there's a Belle & Rumple thread over here when you can just go and enjoy them as much as you want saying they're "true love" and everything you wish to believe BUT please don't come here saying what we should feel/believe in because who are you to say so? Are you one of the OUAT Writers?

And that's BECAUSE Emma hasn't met Gold's "true self" that there's still a chance of her really loving him, at least she didn't ask him to turn into something else than what he is!
And yes, adults can talk without falling in love, adults can flirt and that's what Gold & Emma do, if you don't see it then fine for you but we do. YOU think their relationship is platonic, WE think they have lots of chemistry. YOU think Belle & Rumple have chemistry, WE think they lack it completely. YOU think they are true love, WE think she will NEVER love him for who he is.

ALL of that is called "opinions" none of it is true or false, maybe you're the one who's talking "nonsense" and maybe you should accept it Now I will ask you please NOT to come back to this thread, I don't even know why you came in the first place if you don't like Gold & Emma because if you could read, you would see it's a thread for them Good luck for you as well...

First of all Magja, i think you have a lot of courage to came here and say that . I know that everyone has the right of opinion but...come to a thread here we support Mr. Gold/Emma an say that....just no.
I understand that you don´t see a chemistry between them but don´t criticize who does. If i, for example, went to a thread made by you and called you that, would do like it? Oh...and good luck to you. You gonna need it if you continue to disrespect the others .

If you don't ship Emma/Gold in a romantic sense, that is fine, this thread is to discuss all types of Emma/Gold interaction and if you want to post in here simply regarding their scenes and only that, this is also fine. But please refrain from insulting other shippers and bashing fans directly. That is not acceptable and it is definitely not allowed on the threads.
