I wouldn't be surprised if he is double crossing her, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he actually does genuinely thing he loves her at this point (though if he truly does or not is another question, he could be deceiving himself because he wants to believe he can love and be lvoed). It can go both ways.
He could also do both - love her and double cross her to perhaps change the past into a future where she does love him. Anything's possible. __________________

Do you think it is possible that he wants to enact the time travel spell (hence the need for Belle's baby) so he can be King of the gods and worthy of Zelena?

If he enacts the spell, wouldn't that go back to way too early, messing up with a lot of history? It's a leap to think Zelena would be alive in this case. Maybe he wants to enact the time-travel spell as she meant it though?

Actually, Zelena's spell may have intrigued him at one point, but that would have been long ago. So not sure if it is still on his agenda or something else. I'm still suspicious...he's a god so not sure what rules apply to him. __________________

I am not sure if he actually even wants Belle's baby for itself, or just want it as leverage at this point, and I am definitely not sure what his real agenda is. But that does add more tension to the situaiton, not quite knowing what he wants and how he will go about it.

If he is genuine with her, I'll give him points for not pushing her in that scene and letting her be the one to make the choice. But that's a big if.
