People are calling Ingrid's story tragic, but it only really fits that description in an ironic sense, since, as I've noted before, she basically caused her own misery, first by letting her fear and paranoia drive her into isolation and then by willingly giving away the only thing - the ribbons and the way they solidified the bond between her and her sisters - that was keeping that fear and paranoia from not only fully consuming her, but spreading to infect the other people around her.

I so didn't want her to die. I loved Ingrid! And I love EM so it sucks that she's gone.
And her demise- best tragic ending ever. And the music made me love it that much more! __________________

She went willingly to fix the hurt and harm she had caused, so that's a pretty good way to go, if you're going to go at all.

I liked that she got her happy ending and that she made amends with her foster daughter and nieces.

I liked that she had the opportunity to realize what she had done and fix it, but I would have preferred to see her be able to retract the spell without dying and had the opportunity to be a family with Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff. Every villian for the last 3 arcs has ended up dead, it would have been a nice change IMO.

Yeah you make a very good point.
And I would have liked for her and Emma to have mended fences as well. A sweet moment where Emma could truly apologize, tell her that she was right all along and Ingrid being the loving supportive mother that she was (because I truly believe that despite everything she did love Emma)- telling Emma that it was okay, that she was young and that she wasn't ready to know the truth yet. __________________
