Martyna: The characters are the same person, the fairytale flashbacks happen before the modern day things. The curse that the Evil Queen cast made them forget themselves (all except the Queen, anyway), and gave them a new, cursed identity in a new town in 'A Land Without Magic' (i.e. our world). None of those who are cursed can have a happy ending, the way that fairytales usually end. It will get explained more and more as the season goes on, don't worry!  Quote:
