And yes, it seems like from the start Gideon was trying to break his parents up or keep them apart, which really is not natural. I think if they had stayed together and raised Gideon together he wouldn't have had this power and wouldn't be kind of a "weapon" for the Black Fairy. So I think clearly she orchestrated this whole thing. I just wonder how willing Gideon was. He truly seemed to love his mother in the dream world.

Even though we are going to get great Gideon scenes when when the 2nd half returns...I would like Gideon back to being a baba at somepoint so Rumbelle can be parents again to baba Gideon

Can you add me too! I 100% believe Belle was manipulated and the Black Fairy was behind it! I just don't know how it happened and it is driving me insane!

Maybe in the future the Black fairy knows their son and Emma destroy her and so in that weird realm she is in , manipulated both Belle and Gideon to change history to where she kidnapped him and somehow was able to help his future version go through and eliminate her enemies! That doesn't even make sense to me but I am convinced some kind of time travel is involved. I too hope they get their baby back even though I would hate to lose Giles. He has been a life saver for Rumbelle fans and has gone out of his way to give us pictures and stories about the Gold family!

Well, Rumple did say that in the Black Fairy's realm time moves differently, nothing makes sense and anything is possible. So.. Anything is possible.

On this show, if the writers decide to go for a twist, they'll make it possible, so yeah, never know.

I guess for those who want to keep Gideon as an adult yet also want him as a baby, the compromise would have him be an adult for most of the show and then turn into a baby again right at the end, leaving him to be raised by his parents.

I absolutely think the Black Fairy is the real villain, and Gideon is just one of her victims. She reminds me of Peter Pan: Steals children from their parents, then brainwashes them. I can see why those two would be attracted to each other, lol.

I suspect this is going to be another "Goldstiltskin" storyline for Rumple. I hope he won't have to die this time..

No, he didn't. It appears he doesn't know the name of this realm, only that it's a place of immense dark power beyond even his reach.

My question is: why is the Black Fairy doing all this? It appears she wants Emma dead, but why not do it herself, why steal Gideon and manipulate Rumbelle, so that she can steal him, so he will do her evil bidding?

It's a pity we get this break just as it gets really interesting.
