Yeah, I know, I've always had a fear about walking on the ice after that. The first time she had to have surgery and metal plates put in her foot to set it, the second time years later, she lucked out - she only had to wear a cast and the bone mended on it's own. __________________

Awww sorry to hear about your mom, Heather.
 Ice is a killer in this weather, really it is. Ice never seems to do any ankle damage to me, my Dad's break dancing instructing does. I sprained it over two weeks ago from a session!Anyhoo, I better tidy up this house before my blonde scrappy house friend comes in here and tortures my head with more "Gaston loves her Beast" comments! See ya all tomorrow! __________________

That's understandable Heather. Someone in my brother's family were in their car when they hit a patch of ice. The car spinned a LOT came to to the edge of a ledge/sort of ditch before it stopped from what they told me. __________________

Night, Bouvier. Wow, yeah, ice is no joke. I can just imagine how scary that was - my sister's car spun once, a full spin, with my other sister in the car. She said they were lucky noone was coming from the other side of the road. And you can't ever stomped on the break either, you have to pump it when on the ice!__________________

No it's not.
I'm not 100% but don't they put salt on the ice to help it have more friction or something? Do you put up Christmas light Heather? I saw some gorgeous and fun house totally decked out going home from Wendy's. I don't know if we'll have lights up this year. __________________

Salt or grit. I used to work at a skifield and there would be alot of accidents on the road.

 The city does send someone out to sand the roads but when you have a lot of snow that turns to frozen ice - it can only do so much until the ice starts to melt away on it's own.   We've never put the lights up around our house, nowhere for us to connect but I've seen alot of others who have, very pretty setups too. It makes me want to be able to.  __________________

Where I worked they would just keep laying grit down but I think they were reckless alot with safety.

 That is just ugh to me too!Putting up the lights is never an easy task, even for your house! Latters, stapleguns, etcetera, it takes a lot of time and patience... over here! Whew! Awwww... v She's so cute! Cute little hooded warrior!  __________________
