Watched the premiere of Wayward Pines on Fox last night. Reminiscient of Twin Peaks but also of Once where a stranger to a small town notices iodd things. Opening sequence was pure homage to Lost. First show in nearly 20 years that both hubby and I enjoyed.

Curious if you found it a worthy exit episode for Her character?

I've heard good things about WP. I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan, so I'm very curious: how does it compare? Is there a murder mystery? Or is it just the bizarre small town intrigue that's similar?

I think it's influenced by twin peaks but still very different. It was also very influenced by Lost. There was a murder but the mystery is what's going on with the town.

It's a long weekend here in Norway, which is always good.

My plant order Finally came in and I have been busy planting roses, bleeding hearts, butterfly bushes tulip and lavender trees, and trumpet vines. Hard work, but it'll be worth it next year.

Sorry, I just saw this today! Yes, I thought they did a pretty good job. She got to have a scene with every one of her friends which I think is always nice for the actress to be able to say goodbye. I thought they came up with a good enough way to write her out but still allow her to come back for the finale.

There is a lot of hate for the showrunners of every that show but I still enjoy it as a guilty pleasure

Sorry, I did not. Don't believe it's available in the US, but my dash was filled with numerous gifsets.

Perhaps others.

I don't know how many of you remember purplesequin, aka Angie, who posted here a fair bit. She's a dear fandom friend of mine. She's gotten some really bad news - she started getting really sick a little over a week ago and has now been diagnosed with a really aggressive form of cancer. She's starting chemo right away. So if you have a chance, send her some good thoughts and positivity? She could really use it.
