Yeah, I'm wondering about that too. Perhaps he's got trouble to locate Storybrooke on the map? If he can cross the town line, he could be under the disguise of a normal stranger like August the motorcycle rider in last season. For the sake of "Bonnie and Clyde" relationship, I guess he won't be there until Emma and Snow come back.

Have you read the theory that Cora and Hook are gonna get to SB disguised as Emma and Snow while the real mother/daughter duo is still stuck in FTL? It could be a wonderful twist as with the villains fooling everyone around until Neal fades in the picture and points out that this Emma is a fake one.
