They didn't want to waste any time on him. That's what I don't get. If they wanted to kill him off, why not make him more important instead of less. Why couldn't he have more scenes with Emma, Henry, Rumple and Pan. It would have made his death even more dramatic. It really feels as if they just want everyone to forget about him as fast as possible and IMO there can be only one reason for that.

It seriously is. I dont' see it as bold at all. I see it as a "coward's act". There were so many paths that they could have taken but instead they chose the easy way just to get rid of him.

I would really like to know when they decided to kill him off. It can't have been in season 2 or he would have died when Tamara shot him. Back then he was still meant to find his happily ever after with Emma. |

It had to have been decided after S3 started. It would have been stupid to make him a regular if they knew they were just going to kill him off.
