Hey guys, I know I haven't been here in forever! To be honest, I didn't watch much of season 7...I tried, but I just couldn't get into it. because of my love for Emma & Captain Swan as a couple, this show kept me watching over the years, but season 7 with the cast clear out, the time jumps etc...Once JMo left, my interest kind of went with it. Anyway, I came back for the finale, and I actually loved it. Rumple finally learnt the lesson of ''doing a good thing because it's good, not because you'll get something out of it'', the ties back to the pilot were excellent.
We got to see a montage of past characters which felt so nostalgic (Merlin still gives me heart eyes) and we finally got to meet baby Hope (so aptly named), which is the scene I always wanted to see. i knew having a baby of their own would help heal Emma's fears of motherhood and she would be able to raise her baby with a loving partner by her side. Emma's sigh of contentment as she leans into Killian... I absolutely love that that was included. That little moment was everything I wanted for Emma, and for Kilian, too. To see how much joy and love this little baby has brought them, after a lifetime of uncertainty, loss and pain. It was beautiful. And Emma's entrance was classic, rushing in with the baby bag and a ''baby proofed'' Hook. Haha. And surprisingly, we got to hear who Lily's father was. I love that this finale came through for the longtime fans, despite the way the storyline went with Season 7.
I can't wait to see the fanfiction that comes out of meeting the CS baby That gif is adorable, Hazel

^ Watch Season 7; the series didn't lose anything, fundamentally, when J-Mo, Ginny, and Josh left; it just expanded.

Hi Maddie, nice to see you again here.

I didnt watch season 7 either, i didnt like it much hence less posting about it. Only watched Emma's last episode, and some of the last episode. I didnt like what they did with the wish realm, but thats been since S6 (esp how they went about it) and equally both Emma and Hook are my fave characters, and Emma slightly edges it if i had to pick because its been her since season 1, and even Hook would want me to pick Emma lol and my third fave is Charming.

Well said about Emma, and her happy ending, and motherhood and her fears. And even Hook.

I do agree as long time fans, the finale came through in that aspect, but as a whole episode i dont rate it much lol, just the added bonus.

The entire Wish Realm and Wish!Hook, I agree with you...I hated it when they did it for that one episode, but when they made Wish!Hook ''real'' and in Hyperion Heights, that's when I stopped watching. It just irritated me so much. I understand that with JMo gone, and Colin staying, they had to do something with his character...but for the brief amount of time I watched it, all I could think was our Captain is with Emma in Storybrooke who is this fake? I just felt this was a desperate grab to not lose audiences. It seemed that everything was wrapped up at the end of Season 6 and maybe should have ended there. I love that we did get that end scene with the baby though. I felt with the finale you could kind of ignore season 7 (perfect for someone who barely watched it) and still know what was going on, it still felt like a satisfying end to the series as a whole. With the montage though, it made me think back on how great it was, especially in those first few seasons.
Jane Espensen really was our champion for CS, and Eduardo's costumes made me salivate with envy, they were always so beautiful.
So now with all the realms being within Storybrooke, does this mean that there are multiple versions of our characters walking around? Cos that'd get confusing for everyone...I liked the idea of everyone's lands existing together, but there should only be one version of character to be honest. I guess we'll never see it anyway.

Same on your comment about Wish Hook and wish realm and multiple same characters, i think it was stupid. I think what irritated me the most was giving Wish Hook, a kid. Which to me felt like a low blow from the writers in saying well since you wont be getting real Hook, and no Daddy Killian... lets give it in you in Wish Hook...

And also i like to say in a way i am glad they didn't give Wish Hook a love interest, but i would of accepted if it was Wish Emma.... his true love in any version and realm!! Thats the point of True Love transcending realms

For me season 6 was the end, and what we got with CS in season 7 was bonus, because yeah even i imagined they would have kids and be happy and contented etc.

Honestly even i think there should be ONLY one person, hence why it really annoys me this wish realm and wish characters.

If you haven't watched Season 7 (which, again, you really should), you can't pass judgment on what they did or whether or not it worked, nor can you ultimately pass judgment on whether or not the introduction of the Wish Realm - which came in Season 6 but was absolutely done knowing that its existence would be significant in Season 7 - was a good idea.

Excuse me, this is beautiful. Way to give me CS family feels at the 11th hour, Oncers.

Regarding Season 7, I'm just saying that I liked how the series was wrapped up irregardless of that - they paid homage to the series as a whole. Just my opinion. Charmed I felt did something similiar when they ended (thier 8th season was similiar to Once's 7th I feel). Again, I'm not discounting the beautiful work, acting and character development that went into Once Upon a Time as a series, just that the 7th season wasn't to my taste.
