There's no way of knowing how old Bae is. The common theory is that the green whirly portal of doom was a portal across space and time. So Bae could have ended up anywhere, at any time. Because the curse created by Rumple brought them all to Maine, and in the present day, a lot of people suspect that it's the closest he could get to the same time and place that Bae arrived at.

Sorry if any of that is confusing, but space/time travel is never very easy to explain!

I love period horror, so I would love to see it on the show, but it would be a little out of the norm. On the other hand, I don't think they've ever limited themselves to fairytales. It's just that there have only really been fairytales (and similar, e.g Wonderland) so far...

My #1 theory about him is that he's Peter Pan. He's so immature and he was asking if he could date a fairy (Tinkerbell maybe?).

Well I can't think about who he might be because if you notice Regina gave them lives somehow related to the ones they had in FTL. Jiminy (the conscience) became a shrink, Snow White, being a good and caring, became a teacher, the fairies (that couldn't date in FTL, became nuns... she herself, the queen, became the mayor... and so on. So, I bet that being a doctor is somehow important to understand who he is. Someone who takes care of others, some kind of healer or wizard maybe. I can't think of any though.
