I'm sorry, it's my fault, I was actually suggesting that title should be used for a Neal Cassady/MRJ thread, not for the Baelfire/Dylan one.

I totally agree with you guys. It is much too early to have a SwanFire or a Baelfire/ MRJ one yet. As a matter of fact, we might not have those for some time....

The title about him having a sexy voice would look a little weird for a thread about a 13 year old boy.

But if Neal does turn out to be Bae, then this would become his thread. He'll already have 3 threads under his belt.

Oh, I'm optimistic. I know promos can be deceiving and all, but from what we've heard from JMo about the parallels between him and Emma, I'm sure Neal has been thorugh a lot as well... And MRJ is a great actor, so I'm sure there will be great scenes ahead!!

Wow, only a few hours left till "Tallahassee" and my heartbeat is rising per second 'cause of the general excitement regarding mystery guy Neal...
I still worry about how the writers will portray his character, but as long as his purposes - besides being deceitful and unethical as a thief - are somewhat humane and comprehensible I will be pleased, not worrying about MRJ's performance though. I know he's a great actor who will take off every role he gets.
But - whether or not Neal ends up being Baelfire - I want him to be a layered personality like most characters on the show. In case of him being Bae, it would be nice to find some other little indications which will point out that he actually is Rumple's son. And thus is a bit damaged by everything he has gone through...or maybe he really lost all of his memory when entering our world? (I would vote for it to be played out that way, oh please! No more suffering for little Bae. ) Just keep your eyes open for hints, people!
And in a very unlikely "if not"-case *lol* which other theory is proven to be right or is there a whole new possibility...?
Of course I'm all for Neal being Bae and Henry's dad, but also SwanFire of course - the hottest non-canon couple ever, like literally - but in meantime my thoughts jumped on another train and I couldn't detach them from considering that Henry's dad could just as well be...Robin Hood. ô.ö I know, a few considered it already. But I have a feeling that this alternative was quickly sent into the shadows, although it's very likely. A few things pointing towards this theory: Henry's cloth! Yeah, it's pretty obvious and all, but what if this was the actual intention of the producers? To make us guess so that we won't even make allowance for the obvious, because it is too obvious?! (Can anyone follow my strange thoughts? ) Secondly, Neal's character description...he was a thief. But what about him being a thief with good intentions? I would love to see his character portrayed this way. He wanted to make an "honest woman" out of Emma.
Maybe...none the less he betrayed her afterwards so that she'd end up in jail? Or he left her alone when facing her "destiny" though he might have promised to be with her, save her, give her the comfort that she has never received...you know?
I would literally cry if it roughly turns out this way.

ETA, And refering to the last thread, wow, SwanThief...ROFL! Long time since I laughed so hard, but it's quite brilliant. :'D I hope we'll get to open a thread for the two of them after tonight's epi!

So if Neal turns out to be Bae then this thread will be his? Can we have a young Bae and old Bae thread? Or does it have to be only one Bae thread? Omg, this is so confusing. I'll just come after the show and see if there is a Neal thread opened.

I wonder if there will be a bunch of people changing their icons to Neal after tonight. I also hope the "ugly" comments on tumblr will quit.

I asked one of the moderators and she said that we should keep the same thread. Adult Bae and young Bae are essentially the same character, so there's no need for separate threads. There isn't a separate thread for young Snow or young August either because their the same characters, just at different stages of their life.

And here I am cleaning up my apartment, yet again, to see if time goes by faster.

Can't wait for Neal... Even if he's just "Neal Cassady", as in, Neal Cassady, renowned thief, minor FTL character who is not Henry's father but developed a serious crush on Emma.

Though I seriously doubt that's the case.
