I liked seeing that! She is still understandably angry at them, but doesn't want to see anyone hurt them. That also makes me think that she hasn't gone completely dark.

I do wonder if Emma lashing out at them as much as she does is tied to some internal issues or fears as well.

But yeah, nice to see her still protective of them. I think she still loves them very much, which is probably why she is as hurt as she is.

I second that. Emma's reaction to killing Cruella and her parents telling her that she was defenseless was not given the proper time. But at least it was acknowledged!

I'm so hoping the current plot will slow down and allow for a few more bittersweet family moments. I loved seeing all of them (including Regina and Hook) discussing the issue in the diner, but it saddens me that it was only a background scene.

Family needs more focus. That's what this show is about, right?

The show being about family was the original intent, but now it is about plot and shock factors.

Since Lily is coming to SB, maybe we will get some good family scenes.

I so agree. I need things to slowdown next season so we can have more family development.

Yeah, we don't get enough family moments at all. Especially given how much they've been through, there is just so much they could tap into.
