I have another issue. It's the Black Fairy's wand. We've seen it whole in previous seasons, and yet, this past season, it's been broken up into parts. Rumple had the wand in his possession for many seasons, and somehow, the wand was broken into two parts and separated...when it was sitting in Rumple's shop the whole time in one piece.

I don't remember seeing the Black fairy's wand broken. The only broken one I saw was the one which banished the BF, which looked totally different. When did we see the Black Fairy's wand broken?

But the wand from season 3 was not broken up. It was whole.
If it's the same wand, and we know it's the same wand... Oh, the plot holes! __________________

I guess, but I tend to think each fairy has their own wand. No back-ups.
I liked seeing the black fairy's backstory. It gives more context to Fiona, and also why Malcolm behaved the way he did towards his son. __________________

It did explain why Malcom treated his son like he did, yeah. Taking it out on the wrong person, though, as often happens in this show.

Yeah, very typical behavior for most of our villains.

Should it not read: The Black Faerie? As Faerie has been considered the original way to spell Faeries?
Im not being picky, my apologies if I do, however just thinking out loud, Dearies. |

I have an interesting question for everyone. So, in 5a we learned the origin of the first Dark One, Nimue who was the first dark power in the world. Then, this past 6b, the story referred to the Black Fairy as the source of all darkness.
You can kind of guess what I'm about to ask. My question is, which event came first? Nimue becoming the first Dark One, or Fiona becoming the Black Fairy (the source of all Evil)? Another interesting note, both Nimue ad Fiona's light magic became corrupted when they crushed a heart. __________________

I think Nimue becoming the first Dark One came first. Merlin spent 500 years as a tree, right? And Rumple is about 300 years old. So Nimue became the Dark One 200 years before he was born.
