Please add me to the list! It's killing me to know who his FTL counterpart is! I do like the idea that he's possibly a grown Peter Pan or Lost Boy -- and it makes more sense to me. Regina has no idea who he is, so I'm think his FTL persona is either an animal/spirit/child, etc!

I believe he is one of the Grimm Brothers. Just my guess, or maybe one of the other fairy tale writers, such as Hans Christian Anderson or Charles Perrault. But I also believe he could be Gold's son because of the book binding part. It almost appeared the way when Gold was dipping the stuff when he needed to start the fire. How many people would know how to things like that? Unless you have learned how to bind books (for the record, I worked in a library and I knew how to do a lot but I never learned how to bind books), it would make me think that he is someone who has a memory.
